Inspired by the world created in ElSol’s The Master’s Ring, begins my story set 19 years later. The great purge is ending. A new generation is growing towards adulthood. Since ElSol proclaimed he would never finish his masterpiece, I am striving to expand his world with my own science fiction spin(respectfully). This is absolutely not a sequel, just my reimagining of ElSol's world I so enjoyed. Chapter lengths vary widely. This is intended to be a long continuing story. Only posted here on SOL.

Joe has a kid come to work in his auto repair shop. The kid looks just like him. Tracing the kid's mother takes on various ramification, some with heartbreak and disappointments. Much of it involving the second generation. Things seem to work out for everyone.

Follow Michael Rorke Fearghas as he is transitioned from a Wisconsin farm boy to the Ard-Ri (King) of New Ulster on a planet far away from earth. He will learn the ways of the Ancients as presented by the AI's and what is expected of him and why he must have at least three wives. Part 1 is the preparation for leaving earth and how his mother became his first and senior wife.
