He tells of his finding a young Indian woman on his ranch and how he brought her into his cabin, fed and clothed her and helped keep her safe from danger and the winter cold and snow. He takes her as his woman with the usual anticipated result.

Birdmen is a text version of a graphic novel. It's my take on a Batman-type heroic group who operate in Detroit during Prohibition--the era of The Purple Gang, Machine Gun Kelly, etc. They fight the mob despite corrupt cops and courts. The have a super car called Black Widow. Join them as they fight to save Detroit from destruction by the Mob.

A Superior Replicator Story
This is an alternate reality. Jeff Culberson, a modern Massachusetts state trooper and his replicator, are somehow transported to west Texas of 1872 during the Indian War. He fights Comanches, weds his lady-love, spends some time as a town marshal and as a bounty hunter. He does a lot of good to make Texas a better place to live, including starting the first Normal school for women. 11 chapters.
