A Devastation Diary Story
Aunt Isla had strange ideas, making her properties as independent as possible. This diary entry begins just before the first atrocity.

Three women struggle to live in a dystopian war-ravaged future where the world’s female population has been decimated by a pandemic. The few remaining females are rounded up and made to serve in ‘breeding chambers’ to produce children. With very few females available to meet the desires of men a breed of transgender women known as Comfort Girls takes their place. But all is not as it seems and an anti-establishment revolutionary suspect they know why and they intend to do something about it.

Joe is a bit of a workaholic. His daughter's wedding will change all that. His daughter's mom suggests he takes more time off. She suggests someone goes with him since he won't vacation alone. He agrees to take on a companion. Life for both he and his companion will not go as expected as they travel together.

Eddie is a widower who meets a battered wife and befriends her. Although he is old enough to be her father, the contrast between him and her abusive husband is immense. They quickly develop a relationship.

Tommy had always had an eye for his neighbor Carol, but she was married at the time. However, once the baby was born, her husband left. Tommy would come over and help out the now single Carol being a good neighbor, but those feelings still lay there, right under the surface. Until one day around Christmas time...
