Realtors use all sorts of gimmicks to sell homes and my Aunt Linda is no exception. In her case, however, she offers a special "deal" most buyers can't refuse (especially the men). When that's not enough to close the deal, her daughter Kristen is there to help out. This time she was facing a critical deal with a difficult client. With her job on the line, she asked me if I wouldn't mind helping out. Of course I agreed!

It's been 4 years to the day since I was back home for summer break and my Aunt and cousin joined us to celebrate the 4th of July. It was then I learned Kristen had been "substituting" for me so far as taking care of my dad's "needs". In short before the day was over we had our first family "orgy". Since then the five of us getting together all at once has only happened a couple of times. Would today's anniversary be one of those times?

One night my daughter climbed on my lap. She used to do this when she was little, to persuade me to by something her mum wouldn't let her have, it always worked. But now she's 18, her mother is long gone, and she knows I'll buy her anything she wants, so there's no need for her little games. Then she tells me why... her boyfriend wants to try something new... and she wants me to do it with her first...

Father's Day is always a special day and it's no different in our household. Every girl wants to give her dad something special on that day but I doubt many can compare with my gift to my father!

When my dad needed to reward some of his employees and money just wasn't enough, he needed something special. What could be better than the boss's daughter!

End of summer and one last chance to be with my family. I was expecting my parents to give me a special goodbye but having my uncle show up threw in something extra!

Lately it seems all my attention has been on my teaching and my boyfriend. Leave it to my mom to gently remind me that my dad has been trying to give me some "space" as I work things out and that it might be nice to show him my appreciation. Well, what better way than to pay him a visit in his office when he was least expecting it?

It would be the first time Tammy had visited without my mom being around so I wasn't sure how things would go. I wasn't even sure WHY she was visiting us for that matter. Looking back, why was I even worried?

Suddenly one day I realized it had been quite a while since I'd spent some really good "quality time" with my dad. Well... that shouldn't be so hard to remedy!
