In the case of Parham vs. Jerkins, the Parham family lost, and as part of their punishment for discriminatory acts against Absolutes, they were sentenced to 180 days of enforced nudity and 100 hours of public service. Gloria Parham, their daughter, was also implicated in the complaint and was ordered to strip naked in court. She tried to reason with the judge, explaining her obedience to her parents, but the judge rejected her arguments, stating that she was legally an adult.
