Minor fourteen-year-old Phoenician prince Hiero, whose mother is Greek, is sent with his tutor and desired lover Ikaros by ship across the Mediterranean Sea to Greece to escape Phoenician court succession plots. It isn't Ikaros who initiates Hiero; it's Greek soldiers and Hiero arrives in Greece not in the way or to the life he expected.

A cautionary tale for teenage girls, and a remake of a classic. Hans Christian Andersen was Danish. I am English, so no apology for 'knickers'. Humour meets erotica with a blend of fantasy I guess. Even 'coming of age' in a sense.
