A story in the Beth Universe
This is a continuation of _Beth_ (which see), picked up the day after the story's end, but with a different format. Having read _Beth_ will greatly help readers understand this sequel, but, except, perhaps, at the beginning, may not be all that necessary (given the length of _Beth_). This story will take Beth and the rest of the girls through some changes to their lives, some of which are engendered by Beth's mother, Sandy. Readers of _Beth_ will expect some surprises due to that last sentence.

A story in the Beth Universe
While writing Beth, I sometimes find myself going down rabbit holes. While such are always fun, those bits often wind up in places I don't want the story to go. Rather than delete them, I've saved them, possibly for future stories; I have borrowed pieces for other parts of Beth. These will all be short or a bit longer and may have beginnings and/or endings being abrupt, unconnected. Savvy readers can probably find where many of them started, but others, not so much.

A modern day finishing school teaches a specialized curriculum for girls who are deemed worthy to become the wives and mistresses of the world's wealthiest men. The well-hung instructors ensure that education proceeds as expected.

He had to raise her alone, a strong-willed, stubborn daughter, but he did the best he could. Now she was all grown up and it was prom time. He wanted it to be memorable for her but he also knew what a lot of boys tried to get a girl to give them after the dance. He took what steps he could. But was it enough?

Sue is a pretty teenage schoolgirl who, if anyone had asked, would probably have said that she was fairly happy with her life. On her fourteenth birthday, she gets some lovely, thoughtful presents from her family and a surprise gift of lingerie from an unknown benefactor. Things will never be quite the same for Sue again.
