"OSL: Pledge Initiation," the latest in a series of vignettes by bluedragon as his legion of readers await the publishing of "An Ordinary College Sex Life 2," is played strictly for fun. And what fun it is!
Chronologically, the story fits neatly in the middle of Chapter 15 of "An Ordinary College Sex Life," just after Leighton Barrister, the pledge mistress of Delta Delta Delta at Cal Berkeley, has placed a bounty on Ben's head (or other appendages) for the first member of the pledge class to seduce him. Ben turns the tables on the Tri-Delts by muddying the waters as to which of the three pledges with whom he's had sex was the first. That act apparently gives Ben a place of distinction, when invitations go out for a very important event at the sorority house.
The greatest strengths of the "Ordinary Sex Life" series are character and plot, but bluedragon concedes nothing when it comes to writing volcanic sex scenes. It's also been a tradition of the author to give Ben a little "male slut" time in each book when between relationships, and this vignette falls nicely into that concept.
It also gives bluedragon a chance to give a few characters their due. Nearly all of Ben's conquests get their own special scene, but in AOCSL, a few were simply listed as notches on the bedpost. In this tale, all of those women get a little screen time, and the story concludes with a scene mirroring one of the hottest moments of that book.
All fans of the series are likely to enjoy this vignette. For those who have yet to put a toe in the water, and wonder what all the fuss is about Ben, this is an opportunity to check him out in full "sex god" mode. Either way, it's an enjoyable read.
