Hi All

Now that I've managed just aggravate the heck out of so many people, it is time to reveal my nefarious plan!

Yes, my muse bailed on me. When we finished "The Fortune Of The O'Dells" which starts posting on Sunday morning, she needed a break. I told her not to worry I was cool with it.

Then I sat down and looked at my unfinished story file and decided to finish some of them. You have seen the results. Now, over the next few days I'll be putting the finishing touches on "I Didn't Cheat On You" and "Pop Goes The Weasel" and "You Seen One, You Seen Them All, More Or Less".

Next week, I hope to see the scores of those change. I don't write for scores, but I do use them as a measure of whether I did what I set out to d when I wrote the stories.

"I Didn't Cheat On You" garnered every possible score from 1 to 10. Now how did I pull that little bit of magic off? By touching a nerve at all ends of the spectrum.

So stay tuned and let's see what happens when a writer swings from both ends of the rainbow!

Hi All

My muse is still on a flyer and my museless writings are slowly coming out.

There have been some really wonderful comments regarding the idea of what I am doing. But let me tell you what I think is going on.

One time my band was playing for free at a fundraiser for a battered women's shelter. We began the song "Afternoon Delight" and I was singing it horribly off key. I announced during a guitar solo that I would continue to sing horribly until we had raised $100.

I was so flat and sharp, and generally doing the vocal equivalent of fingernails on the blackboard, that I raised over $400!

I'm not asking for donations, but if you feel like giving money away, a battered women's shelter is a great place, but I think I need to get the word to my muse that if she doesn't come back soon, the stories could get really bad.

I have one called "Salts" that is begging to be finished and let loose on an unsuspecting public.

If you see my muse let her know, will you.

My muse has taken a hike, so to punish her I am posting some of the silly stuff that she would ever let me finish.

I just noticed that I have 500 followers. I'm not sure it that means anything other than it being a really cool round number.

So, thank you to "The 500"!

Next Sunday we will start to fulfill the requests that people had after I posted "I'll See You When I See You" and "Expect Me When You See Me" in the Mick and Renee Universe. People wanted to know about Mick's mother and the history of the O'Dell fortune. I'll begin posting the series "The Fortune of the O'Dells"

I am going to change the name of that Universe to "The O'Dell Universe" since it will be more pertinent to the characters.

Hi All

The final chapter of "Friends and Family" will be posted on Sunday morning. It has been an interesting journey writing it. I had to deal with some really intense emotions.

Thank you to all those who read and to those who made it a better story. DaveT should be up for sainthood for his work editing the story.

I always appreciate the comments readers leave and the email they send. I try to answer every email.
