Any other authors using OpenOffice? And if so, are you noticing an issue where your spellcheck isn't working? I'm nearly halfway through the latest chapter of "Rise" and I noticed an error I KNEW was an error. And OpenOffice is just happily prancing along as if nothing is wrong. Anyone else noticing the same thing? And if so, how did you fix it?
I am SOOOOO sorry for the delay folks. The little free time away from work since the start of the last holiday season, was pretty much monopolized by family obligations. but the good news is, I FINALLY submitted a new chapter for "Rise" Turns out writing a paragraph at a time will EVENTUALLY complete a chapter.

Over the past few months, I have been absolutely buried in work, with the holidays ramping up, and vacations rotating, I've been lucky to have 6 hours to sleep and eat before having to go back to work.
So imagine my surprise, when I find an afternoon to myself, and check my email. Only to find out that one of you wonderful people decided to nominate "Hated" for a Clitoride! I know I've told some readers the source of inspiration behind that particular story, so let me reiterate it now. I never expected a story like Hated to have received such wonderful feedback. But to actually have someone feel it was worthy of an award... I have no words for it. I am completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from this community. You guys are absolutely amazing.

Chapter 4 of "Rise" has been submitted. This is mostly tone setting chapter for the relationship between Nadia and Bishop, but I hope it gives a deeper understanding of Bishop to you guys. Hope you enjoy it.
Well folks. It looks like my work schedule is FINALLY calming down a bit. I have just enjoyed my first day off in nearly two weeks! And HOLY SHIT! I actually got some writing done! And by some writing, I mean chapter 4 of "Rise" is actually over half way complete! It's amazing what 14 hours of undisturbed concentration can accomplish! I even took the time to cook myself some yummy quesadillas, and enjoy a fucking beer for dinner! I know I'm using a lot of exclamation points here, but this is the first day in weeks I've been able to just sit down and do what I love most in this life, and actually WRITE SOMETHING! So I am pretty excited about it!
Oh and as an aside here. I wanted to thank everyone who has sent me all of the wonderful feedback on my stories recently. And to let you all know how much it has meant to me. Your kind words, and knowing I've been able to bring some enjoyment to your days has really made this shit with work a whole lot easier to deal with. Also, I've opened up comments on my stories, so if any of you feel like it, please feel free to let me know what you think of them.
I'm hoping to have Chapter 4 finished sometime Thursday, since this week I'm scheduled to be home no later than 4pm on any day. And actually have Thursday off as well!
