So, I've been getting asked 1: When a new World After story is coming. And 2: What direction the new story Bloodthorne is going to take.
Let me start with the second question; and say the chapter 1 is almost half complete, but there is a lot of character development involved. Much like Bishop and The Abbey, the cast of characters in my latest story is going to be large. Unlike Bishop and The World After however, many of their motivations and story arcs are going to be sort of complex and meandering. So it is taking a while for me to tie them together in a way that really brings them to life. Between multiple antagonists each with their own web of influence and intrigue, this story is shaping up to be fun. But like everything I seem to do, it's going to take a little time.
As to question 1, well I have been working to actually outline my newest World After story so that it actually builds off what I started with "Rise". Bishop and The Abbey will be facing a different kind of enemy this time. Their motives are not going to be cut and dry, or self serving. But they are going to be all the more dangerous because of that. "False Prophet" is going to be a darker story than "Rise" but even though I AM working on it, I want to finish Bloodthorne before I put a majority of my time into it.
And now for an apology. I know I blame real life on my writing schedule a lot, but this time it's been just bit more "ugh" than normal. My new job normally keeps me away from home 4days a week. With the ramp up for the holiday season, I have been working 12 hour days 5 days a week with a 2+ hour commute to and from work. Top that off with trying to get a wholly unrelated independent project off the ground by self funding, and still trying to be both a good boyfriend, and father, and my weeks have just been gone before I had a chance to even notice them. And I'll be honest with you guys, if not for the love and understanding of one absolutely FANTASTIC woman, I don't know if my sanity would have held up under all of this.
Thank you all for the kind wishes and feedback. This community has been amazing to a writer that's little more than a part time wannabe. And I can't express my gratitude enough to you guys.
Thanks again

I just noticed my story "Hated" has 666 votes. I'm tempted to turn the voting off on that story just for the laughs that would give me
So I just submitted the first chapter in a brand new story. This is a complete and total departure from anything else I have ever done before. And I hope it is well received. But if not, just tell me it's not something you're interested in, and I'll go back to The World After, of which the second story is actually becoming a full fleshed out outline. Slowly of course, but it's at least a start. Anyway folks, I hope this new story is something you enjoy, because I am enjoying writing it immensely!
Cheers for now;

Hey there folks;
First, let me start out by saying thanks to everyone who hopped up to volunteer to be an editor for my stories. I honestly wasn't expecting the kind of turn out I got. To all those who responded to my blog entry, rest assured I am writing, and as soon as I have something worth looking at I will be in touch with you good people.
Second, an answer to everyone that has been asking me about how The World After is going to progress. The word is slowly for now at least. The story I'm currently working on has been an actual outline for more than 5 months, and I NEED to actually write it before it drives me insane. It is NOT a World After story, but I hope you folks will find it a pleasant departure from my other works. But I am happy to let you that I have at least begun a very, I repeat VERY, rough outline for Bishop's next adventure. So I am going to tease you all a little. How does this grab you for a title, "False Prophet"? I have a vague timeline, and a good first draft of the new antagonist. But that's about all I've done. I'm not going to put too much effort or me energy into it until I have at least come close to finishing the new story I'm working on.
I hope this finds you all enjoying your day.
Cheers;
Wrath's Child
I need help. I know I'm not the greatest writer in the world, and I understand that I make errors. Unfortunately I now have to admit that I can't catch them all by myself.
I need an editor. To any of the authors out there, how do I find one? And most importantly, how do I find an editor who would be willing to put up with my more protracted writing schedule?
I have an idea for a new story, in a new world. And it is an entire departure from anything else I've written so far in that it is going to be a traditional High Fantasy. But given that I can't keep making the blatant errors I have been, before I begin really working hard on it, I'd like to have an editor on board to keep my sloppy ass in line.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers;
Wrath's Child
