So, I apologize for the next chapter taking so long. I'm hoping to have it off to editing by the middle of this week.

I took a short vacation to rest and refresh. I'm back and working my fingers to the bone to get it done.

Hope y'all are doing well. The new chapter we t off to editing last night. So as soon as I get it back it'll get uploaded.

So being a Chicago Bears fan I'm not really invested in the Superbowl. Other than I want San Francisco to win so I can watch Taylor Swift cry.

Now on to more important news. I'm about a day behind in getting the next chapter into editing. It will go out before I don't watch the Superbowl.

I start writing again come Monday after a day or two of rest. Y'all have a great weekend. If you go to a Superbowl party and drink, get a friend or an Uber to take you home.

I know that it's taken a lot longer than I wanted, and way longer than y'all wanted. But the new chapter will post this evening. Maybe it's just me and I was not able figure out this fangled computer thingy, but I couldn't get it to post immediately.

I apologize for the delay. I'm currently about halfway with the subsequent chapter. Hopefully going forward I can get back onto a semi regular posting schedule.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Now I'll get to the update. Things have been pretty rough for me the last two months. I've had the want to write and get the next chapter done. The will hasn't been to the same level as the want. I appreciate the messages that have come my way asking if I was OK. To be quite honest I've been in a mental malaise. My vacation was great, but getting back to work just beat me back down.

I got the next chapter off to editing today. Those guys do God's work making my stuff readable and not sounding like it came from the mind of someone completely unhinged. I'm not expecting a quick turnaround, it is the holidays. When they finish working their magic, I'll get it out as quick as I can.

I'd like to say thanks again to those who sent me messages, that's actually what kept me moving on this chapter when I was contemplating just stopping for a while.

So, to end my little pity party. Have a Merry Christmas, spend time with y'alls family, even the ones you can't stand.
