So... yeah, I got this email...

I have to tell you that I am deeply offended that you think I or anyone else on this site might need a "trigger warning!" To assume the the folks here are snowflakes or worse, children is not just insulting, it shows an elitist attitude the should not be tolerated in an enlightened society! How dare you project your assumed superiority by telling us that you think we are unable to read your story because we're not as "tough?" or as mature as you are? You cultural bias is shameful and you owe everyone here a heartfelt apology, although I doubt you're capable of such.

Holy crap. This is either a pretty epic troll or the author of the above needs a Xanex.

Let me set the record straight on one point. I am in partial agreement with the author of that email in that I think trigger warnings are silly, especially on a website whose content is, primarily, sexual in nature.

Here's the thing though, I was trying to play the game, to play nice with readers. Adding a couple of words to the blurb doesn't hurt anyone except the odd sandy mangina types who haven't found their quota of 'things that offend me today'.

So no, I am not going to apologize.

Thanks for the feedback though, I really do enjoy reading your responses.

New story, first three chapters posted: 'INCOMING!'

A brand new story for you! I am excited to see what folks think of this one. It is more traditional novel with just a little sex thrown in, so if you are looking for a stroke story, sorry.

INCOMING!
A traumatized Army veteran comes home minus both legs and an arm. What are his chances of finding love? What if a there is still a target on his back?

A little romance, some intrigue, some action with a touch of humor, there is something for everyone in this story, or so I hope!

Crap on a cracker!

One of my intrepid readers, a great guy named Martin, wrote to tell me I had screwed up.

Okay, so that isn't all that unusual, I screw up a lot.

This time, I really screwed up.

In fixing an annoying error pointed out to me by several readers, I tried to upload the fix to the story 'Solitude'

Only... I uploaded it over the first chapter of 'A Single Moment' instead.

DOH!

So, both stories are getting an update at the moment, the changes are queued and ready to go (assuming I got it right this time.)

Thanks for the help, folks, and thanks for your patience.

New short story "Solitude"

I had an idea for this in the back of my mind for a while, thought I would jot it down and see if I could do it justice.

You'll have to tell me whether it works or not, I can't be unbiased about my stories. It's not very long, less than 10K words, so give it a shot and let me know what you think.

Premise: Can two emotionally scarred outcasts overcome their demons to find love? I like to hope so.

Do you believe that a single moment can change a life? That an instant, a split second, can alter destiny?

I do.

A coming of age story, where a young man with a potential finds that life is a strange journey.... and sometimes the destination changes you.
