The overwhelming consensus to my question last week was that people preferred that editing be done before uploading, even if it means a more erratic upload schedule.
Okay, you asked for it! There is a new chapter of Empath out to be proofread and I will post it when I get it back.
Thanks for the great response to my question. As always, I appreciate the feedback I get from the folks here!
Trying to keep the schedule I set myself.
I don't want any hate mail over the holidays, so I am telling you now that I may or may not be as prompt as Christmas approaches, but I will do my best.
Question for those of you who actually read these: I barely finished the second chapter for Empath before my deadline, and didn't have time to have it proofed. Would you rather see regular updates even if it is not proofread first, or would you rather wait and see a more polished version even if it is late?
2 new Chapters for Empath
2 new Chapters for Incoming.
Let's see if I can keep up the weekly pace with these, eh?
that can happen to an upload. The first chapter of 'A Single Moment' had a hiccup (the story abruptly starts over mid page) AND was cut short so that several paragraphs were missing at the end of the chapter.
Not sure why it happens, but I re-uploaded the chapter and it looks good on my screen.
Thanks to John, the sharp-eyed reader that pointed it out to me!
Didn't want a fellow vet to think I ignored his feedback!
Message from: Darren:
Great story line do far! As a veteran of the 82nd it touches on topics near and dear to myself. I'm looking forward to future chapters.
Airborne!
Glad to hear you are enjoying the story, and it never fails to amaze me with I run into fellow 82nd Alumni.
Aco 2/504 here, got out in 93.
