As I do with all of my series I get to a point where, because of the gap between writing each chapter I need to completely reread the story from the beginning. (Perhaps this is due to my age). So, prior to writing chapter 7, I began reading and of course made changes which improved and tightened up the structure of each chapter which led to a better Chapter 7. So I have reposted all of my chapters which makes it possible for my new readers to a better grasp of the story. I wonder if all writers do this.
Toby leaves for college (Johns Hopkins University) staying in an apartment building owned by Rina Strelnicov. He meets the owner of Sig's Diner (Samantha Onassis), a thirty-five year old single woman who asks him to come to work for her.
I had hopes for my story Reminiscence but it was unpopularly received. In rereading it I find the story poorly written. So with apologies for below standard work I discontinued it and replaced it with "Seeking Manhood" which I think is more in line with my other work.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
Peter
I have been trying find a way to end this story. So having completely reread it I rewrote and and rearranged chapter to make them shorter and more readable. Having originally written three chapters I have amended these to seven chapters and added one new one, Chapter 9.
Many of you have asked that I continue this story which I have been thinking of doing for years. So I have rewritten the first seven chapters, am adding additional chapters (some of which I have written under separate titles, and will carry the story forward into Toby Wakefield's adulthood in hopes of reuniting him with Sister Mary Cecile, who had a baby and left the order.
Thank you for your interest in Penguins' Preference and urging me to continue.
Kindest regards, Peter
