Here's Chapter 8.

Pēteris and his Companions return to Chaos - Beavis the town where they first appeared. Their welcome is not exactly warm.

Chapter 7 is in the queue and is due for delivery by Sunday the 7th. But like babies, it may pop out sooner.

Pēteris and his Companions finally return to Crossroads. They find Moira, twins, and Damsels, a Hero Greeter (what's wrong?) and what else?

Soo-Min is still hot for Pēteris.

An adventure is selected. Will Pēteris choose Monica Mechanic for his Damsel? Who is Trudi Masseuse?

For those of you who've read more than one of my stories, I'm sure you've noticed that I've tried different writing techniques and styles - alongside some of my whacked out plots. For example, my first story, The Times..., was written in the first person, all the rest in third.

In Monica, I've switched names from Monica to Monty and back to indicate changes in persona. One reader wrote to say that the switch in names didn't bother, but the switch in pronouns did. As I wrote, I wrestled with this and changed several times. If anyone has thoughts on this, I'd like to know them. It is doubtful that I would use this again, but who knows?

I've enjoyed the feedback on this one. My thanks to those of you who write.

Chapter 6 is in the queue for tomorrow. I hadn't realized that this is a short chapter, but Chapter 7 will make up for that - I promise.

Miriam and Robyn are back on Earth waiting until they can return to Chaos as Companions to their Hero, Pēteris. In their usual routines, they are each confronted with Chaos-type problems. They are no longer quite Earth-type civilized and handle them in Chaos-type style.
