I'm traveling this coming week, so I'm letting you know that Chapter 3 (posting Tuesday AM) and Chapter 4 (posting Thursday AM) describe conditions and pickups in Vietnam. I did my best with key words and concepts, much as I do with Spanish. I hope this isn't a trigger, but I wanted to warn just in case.

I am a vet, but served in Germany and South Korea while the war was in progress. My wife was an Army nurse who volunteered and served in what we know as a MASH unit in the delta. Several years ago, I took her back, and she found that to be very healing. We found the people warm and welcoming - most were born after the war. I won't say any more. Enjoy the tale.
