Hi all!
Thank you for all the email I received from all of you. Now that the storm has moved away from Florida, it seems that all the news items here in SA are just on local stuff. One item did mention that about three million households are without electricity, but nothing further. Those of you that did take the time to drop me a mail in the face of the storm; thank you. I hope you are safe and damage free. (One mail did mention that the prayers helped.)

I have posted chapter 11 of “Smoke on, GO!” and if all goes well at SOL, it will be up later today.

I wonder if there is any of you guys that play the PC game “Fallout 4”? I mention this in the light of an email I got stating that this person stays in California and their biggest concern is that of earthquakes. Also, that they expect the “Big One” that will break California off from mainland USA and send them drifting to Hawaii. Well, I plan on reaching 360 years of age, and even then, I don’t think I will live to see that day when California meets up with the islands of Hawaii. But that is a thought for a future story. Thanks!

Why I mention Fallout 4, is that I can just imagine California looking like the scenery in FO4 after the “Big One” strike.

Those of you that asked where my stories are available to purchase, thanks for the vote that you think my stories are good enough to sell, but no, my stories are just available on SOL for free. Although my Editors think on the same line as you, I might consider collating them all in one omnibus and offer it for sale sometime. Who knows? The total downloads for all my stories are now standing at 982 000 downloads. Maybe if I hit 1 million downloads I will sell them… LOL.

Enjoy the last calm patch of the plot in “Smoke on, GO!” Before the mayhem falls. (My editors are chewing their nails as they already send me back chapter 16. So, they know what is coming… Evil Laugh)

It's with great concern that I am watching the storm approaching Tampa in Florida. Just know that all you guys and girls are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that you all would be safe. I pray that God keeps his hand of safety over you, and keep the damage to a minimum.

Summer is slowly creeping in. The days are getting hotter and soon the rainy season will start. Let’s see how it goes, as the weather prophets predict a somewhat dry season. Already the Metro has started to impose water restrictions. Yeah, it happens here too. The next world war won’t be about politics, or religion, or imperialistic goals, but about water! So, get your squirt gun ready.

Here we get to chapter 10 and you will see why it is a good thing to have the eyes of the Angels around. Very observant that Mai-Loan.

Hi all!
Now this was a very interesting week. On the weather front, we got out first spring rains on Saturday evening and night. I came with a microburst that nearly blow the patio roof off my sister-in-law’s patio. But the roof stayed. The notice board for the armed response company was not so lucky – it blew off and out in the street. Also one of her gate lights was blown off it’s mounting.

And then, anticlimax. Just a few drops of rain with the lightning playing on the horizon, but so far away that one could not even hear the thunder. I still had to water the garden on Sunday.

Now here is chapter 9 of “Smoke on, GO!”

I see only one reader mailed me about the “inside joke” in chapter 8. LOL. For those of you that did not get it: look again at the picture of Georgie and her cat. On the coffee table are some books, the cover of the book on top is “Smoke on, GO! By Jody Daniel.”

And so Monday rocks around. Oh, how do I love Mondays! Wife is off to work, and I can snooze a while longer. It’s great to be retired…

Also, Monday means that a new chapter of “Smoke on, GO!” hits the computer screens around the world. Here is chapter 8. I hope you enjoyed the out of sequence publishing of chapter 7? LOL! Yes, that was the surprise.
