Who is Jody Daniel? To be honest, just a retired someone inside the thundering crowd. You won’t even notice me while out shopping, or just going to the movies. I like to read everything that takes my fancy. Action, Adventure, Fiction and the occasional historical accounts of a bygone era. I was always fascinated by the way some Authors can tell a story. After reading a couple stories on Stories online, I thought: Well, you can try your hand at it, and see how it goes.
After retirement, I had two choices: One; take up painting, or Two; Start writing a story and publish it. (My one Editor thinks it was fortunate for the SOL community that I did not take up painting landscapes and fruit on a table. Well, that is his side of the story!)
I have done some flying in my time and so some of my stories might have an aviation theme, prominent or in the background. Also, LAW Enforcement may play a role, as I have spent about 30 years chasing criminals. (Caught much them though…)
I live in South Africa and use English only as self-defence. My home language is Afrikaans. So, that is me. Nothing special, I’m only me.
