Things seem to be back to normal around these parts — even my lost editor has returned!

And yes, Aardvark8, I’m sure it’s my editor… although, come to think of it, he doesn’t quite seem himself. (No comments in the edit this time!) Hmm… maybe I should follow your suggestion and call in the Men in Black to investigate… or perhaps send the Angels. Or Luigi.

For those of you who haven’t met Luigi in any of my stories, here’s a quick introduction. He’s usually not seen — but if you do see him, sorry, it’s already too late. He’s the guy in the long black leather coat and black hat, often carrying a violin case (though, trust me, he doesn’t play the violin).

Luigi speaks several languages, including Sicilian Italian, and he’s the one who makes my problems… go away. He’s also a kind and generous soul — he loves giving out gifts like cement boots, and he’s always willing to help anyone who qualifies for his generosity, to take a little visit to see the fish, dressed appropriately, of course, with those magnificent cement boots. He’s also quite skilled at extracting fingernails… or inserting bamboo slivers under them.

LOLOLOLOL!!!

Hi all!
What a week! LOL!!! I started last weeks blog with that same words. Well, this week I can report that the garage door is sort of sorted. It looks like the insurance is going to pay for it! AND I did get to write. That’s the good news. Chapter 14 is finished and back from the editors. So is chapter 15, and chapter 16 is halfway. Phew, a productive week I must say.

It also seems to me like the aliens has abducted my one editor as after 4 days I get no response from him. He has chapter 15 to look at, but no word from him. Maybe the chapter was so bad that decided to go with the aliens to wherever aliens go. LOL! (Or he eloped with his hotrod.)

Well, here is chapter 10 of Rosa Rio. Maybe I can spring a surprise on you guys and girls and also publish chapter 11. No promises. But let’s see how the wind blows.

P.S. The Aliens did not abduct my editor. He’s back! Yippee!

Hi all!
What a week! My sister-in-law’s garage door motor burned out and trying to get a replacement is like looking for chicken teeth! The best quote so far is 13K! Grrrrrr... Well, let the hunt for the motor begin.

As this problem is running its course I have not written one word on chapter 14. I did manage to add some romantic scene to the end of chapter 13 and as such the chapter is now complete. This week I will endeavour to get chapter 14 finished and out to the editors.

LOL! Using the word “endeavour” reminds me of a ring-tone I once had for my cell phone. It was not a sound or a song or such, but a deep voice of a “butler” saying: “Sir, someone is endeavouring to reach you by phone. Should I tell them to f**k off?”

Well that one lasted until my phone rang during a management meeting. I must say the meeting disintegrated in hysterical laughter. Even from the girls in attendance.

Hi all!

Summer is now in full force here. Hot and humid during the day and from about three or four in the afternoon thunderstorms move in.
Thank you for all your emails and comments. It is great reading it and those of you that told me snippets of your own aviation life – I love it, and can relate to it.

Yes, I know there is a few mails I’ve not replied to yet, but soon I will.

I am also busy with reviewing the writings of another author as well as an essay from a reader in Australia. I must have replied to that essay a while ago, but yeah... life is throwing curve balls and time is short!
