(LOL) You most probably think I am cuckoo? Yeah, well, maybe! So, was it Murphy's law that stated: If you open a can of worms, it takes a bigger can to contain them again?
I see where this discussion in the comments are going, and without calling each other names, lets just respect each other's views on the different brands and sizes that is needed to complete a job.
There are various toys on the market, and each has its merits. Personal preference will prevail to those that have the experience to know what works, and not listen to some dude that has no idea of what happens in the real world.
Some attitudes do not get past the firing range and with the attitude of; bigger is better. (And let's pray those are not the ones to cover my back, when push comes to shove.) Nope! Better, is the one that works. Not my toy is bigger than yours, or is it: "I have more money than you."
It is not all the tag lights and red dot sights and crap pasted onto a toy that counts, but how good a shot you are and how fast you can react to a situation. All toys kill the same: DEAD! (Been there, done it, got the t-shirt and wrote the book!)
All I can say is: Use what works for you. If it works, use it!
NOW: My calendar tells me you would like to know what had happened to Ash, Angie and the gang? Well, if all goes well, and to plan, those nice people at SOL will publish chapter 14 later today.
Keep safe and stay safe.
Bye 4 now.
Then there was chaos!
It happens. All don't always go as planned. It was Murphy that said: "If anything can go wrong; It will!" He also gave us his wise words that said: 90% of a project takes 90% of the time to complete; the last 10% of a project takes the other 90% of the time.
Then there was McGwire that said: "Murphy, was an optimist!"
So, let's see How Ash is getting out of this one…
Desert Rose chapter 13 will be up later today. And if you want to see more pics of the AS332J Super Puma, head over to you know where...
Regards, stay safe, and be good!
Bye 4 now.
Hi all.
For a full answer to the question about Glock firearms and the safety mechanism, please head over to my external blog. This will explain the thing once and for all with a picture of the safety on the firearm in question.
For those of you that understand the issue - Thank you.
Chapter 13 is coming on well and will be high lighting the different views of the different characters. Introducing yet another "shadow" in the world of greed and deceit.
Bye 4 now!
A good day to you all. Well, chapter 12 of Desert Rose will be uploaded shortly. I just received it hot from the Editors.
Although the editors had a slight problem with all the technical description of the Cessna 210, and I had to delete 2 paragraphs, (Darn!) I did manage to slip in a picture of the Glock WITH a safety, as I still get emails about the non-existence of such a model. Well, here is proof as supplied by good old "Uncle Google!"
Also, seems like someone tried his best to convince me that you don't get a thumb safety on a Glock and then lost the battle, then tried to convince me that Angie giggle too much, let me ask: How many of you know women giggling up into their late twenties? It is not a sign of immaturity, but rather a sign that she is interested in you. Please, try "Uncle Google." He's not always right, but do supply some interesting, verified facts, by leading experts on the subject.
Thanks for reading and for all your comments. The emails are welcome. Always good to hear from you!
Stay safe.
Bye 4 now.
Yip, I know this is a little late, but hey, I have a day job too! Doing TAX returns for people who don't like figures. Yip, it helps also the pot on the stove.
Anyway, here is C11. Phew! I had to rewrite a big part of it, because my biggest critic (The Red Head in my life) and one of my editors thought it was too "fairy tale," so I brought in some blood (Where? Oh, there.)
Keep well.
Bye 4 now
