Hi All! Hope you are doing fine and are in good health. Don’t watch TV, too much War and destruction. You will just get indigestion, heartburn and other unmentionable nonsense. Rather read some GOOD stories on SOL and live in the moment.
There has been nothing much happening around here. I can say a lot about the fuel price hike, and the food price increases, but would rather leave it and just enjoy the last of summer, fall, and get armored for winter.
To my friend in Norway, get back South Africa! Our winters are much better than the Arctic Summer. LOL.
So, chapter 8 of The Sound of Thunder will be up later today. I just posted it, and the good people at SOL will most likely have it available by 16:00 SAST. (South African Standard Time.)
To my editors: Thanks for some fine work, but you will notice that I changed some wording, just to clarify about little Roxy getting wet in a Cape Town storm and little 98 pound Darya being able to play with her little piece of artillery. (Sorry… Despicable, nasty me… I know I will get some feedback about it. LOL.)
So, enjoy! Keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars!
Bye 4 now!
The day you knew would come. It's no surprise, and yet, it took a while, but "The Sound of Thunder" Chapter 7 is out! (SOL will have it around 16:00 SAST for you to get.)
Thank you all for the response to "Caldo Largo." The PLOT? Yes the plot... Even got the reviewer with that one. LOL. The plot is as old as time, and time is old, very old. Boy finds girl. Boy likes girl. (A lot.) Girl likes boy. They kiss, and... Well, that's it. I'm sure you saw through that one.
And for my email friend that said I must go check my hard drive for more of these: Okay, I will. Promise nothing. Let's see if there is something...
So, now on to Thunder Chapter 8. Ooo! There might be a kink in the cable. (A small one.) I say no more.
Keep well. Be blessed. until next time. Keep the emails coming!
Bye 4 now!
Hi everyone. Hope you're good.
Okay The Sound of Thunder Chapter 7 is still with the editors, so hang in there.
In the meantime, I found something on my hard drive and polished it up a bit. Here is a short story called "Caldo Largo." I hope this will keep you going until I can post The Sound of Thunder chapter 7.
There is a little side story about Caldo Largo. Something I have written in two days while waiting on things that had to be completed, but without my input. I woke up one morning with this theme in my head, and just put pen to paper. I hope you enjoy it.
Keep the rubber side down and the blue stuff above!
Bye 4 now!
Good morning, everyone! I hope things are going well for you. Things are beginning to cool down here, with cool mornings but hot afternoons. Even so, every second or third day, afternoon thunderstorms with the sound of a war zone continue. My garden hasn't been watered in three or four weeks! That's how much rain we got.
My one editor claims that one day it is 17 degrees Celsius and the next day it is 17 degrees Fahrenheit! I suggested that he send the weather to remedial class in order for it to improve from an “F” to a “C.” (He is enjoying the “nice” winter weather in the Northern Hemisphere!)
So, here's chapter 6 of the story. Thank you for voting and providing feedback. It is greatly appreciated.
Enjoy!
Bye 4 now.
Good day to you all! I hope you are doing well and good. There may be some good weather news for those of you covered in snow. For the last week, I keep feeling a chill on the morning air. It means that Fall is about to start here and maybe an early winter for us. Winter for us means that SUMMER will be coming to the Northern Hemisphere. So, hang in there.
Chapter 5 of “Sound of Thunder,” will be up later today. Enjoy, and let me know your feelings as how the story is progressing.
Thank you for all the emails, it is much appreciated. AND I mean ALL the emails.
Else, nothing much happening here. Same as usual, nothing new…
Bye 4 now.
