Hi all!

Not to keep you waiting and get up to speed with my posting schedule… Herewith Chapter 12 of Cargo Drop.

There’re not much happening this side. The little dog is perfect and recovering good from his hospital stay. He will be on insulin twice a day, but yeah… he started to bark at stuff happening outside the gate and sang with the heart-sore dog next door, causing the rest of the neighbourhoods dogs to join in the fun.

The cats are fine and so am I.

I hope and pray you are all doing well. Thanks again for all your emails. Also, the comments are a source of insight to me. NOW, I know where the 1 and 2 and 3 up to 5 votes come from. LOL!!! But fear not! The 10 votes still out perform the others. And I have also made peace with that “Cargo Drop” will not get a vote higher than 7.80. I just hope it goes better than “Caldo Largo.”

AND! Damn! Jody has learned nothing! Again he’ll get a “I hate this story” vote! Sorry, but just for you I’ve posted chapter 11 early, before schedule. AND included another cliff-hanger! But fear not, the other 1042 followers will give me a ten vote. (Evil Laugh…)

And a warm thank you to you the readers, as I see that “Return To Sender” has gone over 200000 downloads! This is awesome! (For me, at least…)

I am also glad to see that someone DID work out my posting schedule. Good! I am at this moment awaiting the return of chapter 14 from the editors. The reason I don’t post the chapters as they are done, is so that I can have something in reserve to keep the posting schedule regularly, and not let you wait because one of my editors are on holiday, ill, or somehow otherwise detained. I hope you can appreciate that.

It did happen before that one of my editors were unable to do the editing straight away, and that caused a delay in posting. This is stuff that happens behind the scenes, and some of you are not aware of it. But yes, editors are good guys that do their services for free, so, I can’t be horrible and ask them to: “Get a move on!” It is also not in my character to do that.

Okay! You wanted the Angels… So, here enter the Angels in Chapter 11. Please also note that what happens in chapter 11 and 12… DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME! The Angels are a highly skilled fantasy military unit that defy the rule of physics! LOL!!!

I hope you are having a great day! Well, I told you that I read all comments and appreciate the emails that you send me. Well, I think it is best to answer some of your input here on this blog.

Firstly: Here in South Africa there’s a LAW that state no one is allowed to take your picture without your permission. (Effectively killing those stupid traffic speed cameras!) So, I can’t go around and take random pictures of nice pretty girls without them telling me it’s okay.

Secondly: If I do that I might get a whack on the head from the Redhead light of my life!

Thirdly: There’s a thing called: “Copyright.” I can’t just use pictures from the internet without paying some photographer some money.

To counter all these problems, and still give you illustrations to highlight some aspect of the story, I resorted to using a 3D rendering software application and design my own girls. (Yeah, I know!) Also, I have to get the right angle for the illustrations, something the internet pictures don’t always give.

The photographs of the aircraft I use are also copyright, therefore I use a Software application called Flight Simulator X (MSFS2020 is way too expensive to buy here in SA.)

You will notice that the pictures of the T-6 Harvard is FSX with the one where Bobbie saw it for the first time, to be the real ZS-BAL. Lucky the owner of the aircraft had no problem with me using that picture of ZS-BAL.

I could not trace the owner of the L-39 ZU-JET, therefore, I used the FSX one.

I am real sensitive towards copyright protection, and therefore do not want to step on anyone’s toes, as I have the same sentiment towards my own works. If you were not aware, there were some people that went and copied SOL stories and just changed the title, then went and sold it on a well known online book-store. This is not only theft, but, outright disrespect for the author of the original work. I can assure you it takes many hours of research and coining the phrases. Especially for me that is not a native English speaker, and neither English grammar wise.

I do hope you guys and girls understand the problem. I will as far as possible still use pictures of landscapes that I describe.
