Junior Year - Spring

Quick update. The first draft is done!!!

I've sent it off to the editors to fix continuity, flesh out characters, etc. That all has to be done before it will be available for pre-release. When it is ready I will send out an email to the people on the list.

Junior Year - Fall will conclude on SOL by Mid-May. I will start posting Junior Year - Spring around the first of August.

I've started writing Junior Year - Summer while I'm on a roll. People have been asking about when I will get to Getting it Done - it will be after Summer is completed and I need a break from Stupid Boy.

It's a Good Week to be on SOL

Two of my favorite authors have new books coming out. Jay Cantrell's Learning Curves looks to be another must read.

What I'm also excited about is BarBar with another Bec story. If you haven't read this series yet, do so.

Some other things I'm reading:
The Blind Man's Gateway: What Lies Beyond looks to be coming to an end. I've really enjoyed this one.

Allan Joyel's Living a Cap Based Present has been a strong continuation of his Building a Cap Based Future story.

Tefler has a space harem story going with Three Square Meals. I especially liked his most recent chapter. I thought it was very well written.

I think we are all ready to string up Kid Wigger. He owes us some Code Monkey.

What I'm looking forward to:
Banadin needs to get cracking on his Richard Jackson Saga. I think if we all send him emails he might cave and start posting...

Jay Cantrell owes us a sequel to Runaway Train.

Kenn Ghannon wrote one of the best Swarm Cycle books in Pretty CAPable. Calix is a character you want to read.

Finally, SmokinDriver needs to finish Nick, College.

Of course this in not a complete list. If you have some good suggestions of what I should be reading let me know.

Stupid Boy Series Update

Posted at Updated:

I've recently received a lot of emails wanting to get an update on the next book - Junior Year - Spring. Specifically, when will it start posting on SOL and if they want the pre-release version, when will it be ready?

The good news is the delay between books will not be as long this time. Junior Year - Fall will be ending in May. My team and I are shooting for posting the first chapter of Junior Year - Spring around the end of July or early August.

The better news is I am currently writing the first draft of the Spring book. It looks to be 29 chapters long, so it should give you a little over 7 months of reading enjoyment on SOL.

The goal is to have it done by this summer (or sooner) for pre-release. I will send out an email and post on SOL when it is ready.

FYI - Thanks for the feedback on the current book. I am glad that people have noticed that my writing is getting better. I appreciate you allowing me to use you all as I learn my craft. I'd never really thought I could write, but from your feedback and the guidance of my capable editors I've felt my work was getting better.

Recently I've received some very encouraging feedback on my most recent book.

Thank You,

Occasionally I will slip in stories that happened in my life. Chapter 20 has one of those stories - Dead Hog in the Road. This one and Road Trip are the two most told at family events.

Road Trip tells the story of me taking my new pup to Thanksgiving at my uncles farm. I learned a valuable lesson that day. NEVER feed a dog that might get car sick before you go on a two hour car ride. Let's just say my dad was not a happy camper with any of us.
