Been working like a madman

Hello to all of my faithful readers! Sorry, I have been incommunicado, but I have been working since Jan painting a couple of houses and haven't had much time to do much else. I apologize for being silent, but I figure a new chapter is better than anything I could've said. Chapter 28 of Malachar's Curse Emerald Dreams is in the queue, and the next thing to be posted soon will be Chapter 41: entitled Catastrophe for Curiosity Killed the Cat. I realize that it has been a long time coming, and I fully intend to finish the book and have been writing on it, although it has been a little difficult. I hope you all enjoy the latest offering!

Cheers!
Chris

I just wanted to mention that I corrected multiple errors found in chapter 25 (the fixed version is posted) and the few in chapter 26, which is currently in the queue. There were a couple of grievous ones, and I apologize for them. I can only blame myself and the fact that my headspace has been questionable of late. Also, I would like to let everyone know that I appreciate feedback of any kind, including criticism and corrections. (Especially corrections because I hate the idea of silly mistakes being left as blunders in my work, and God knows I miss many of them!) Other than that, I sincerely hope that my readers enjoy the latest two chapters of my tale.

Cheers!
Chris

Malachar's Curse--Two chapters posted.

Sorry for being incommunicado for so long. At the time of my last communication, I was still numb from my father's death and hadn't really started dealing with the loss. I kept writing whenever I could get up the gumption, but it took a while. I was able to finish two chapters, and another ring has been acquired. I hope that you enjoy the twist that occurs. I will be writing the next few chapters for Curiosity Killed the Cat now. I believe that it will be another 10 to complete book one. For everyone who's still interested in reading my work and who have been patiently waiting for new entries, thanks!

I hope this finds all of you safe, healthy, and in good spirits, considering the turmoil around us.

Cheers!

Chris

Hello readers, I hope this finds you all in good health in this craziest of years. I just wanted to update all of you fine folks on how my writing is coming along. Chapter 25 of Malachar's Curse has taken on a life of its own and has grown substantially larger than I had intended, but I feel that everything I've written is necessary to the story. It's getting close to completion, and I might break it into two chapters instead of one. It's already over 22,000 words! I hope to have it polished and in queue soon so that you may enjoy the action and developments that take place.

For those of you patiently (thank you) waiting for the continuation of Curiosity Killed the Cat, it is in the works. I have been jotting down remembered notes and snippets of conversations that I'd already written and lost (damn defunct HD) and plan to finish book one as soon as Jake secures the next ring.

Cheers!
Chris

Hi to all of my readers. I haven't posted anything in a while because, unfortunately, my father passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. He was sick, but even his doctors thought that he would still be around for another couple of years or so. I'll be honest, it's hit me very hard. We were super close, and I'll miss him from now until whenever it's my turn to go into the great mystery beyond. Needless to say, I've been too busy to write much lately. I was spending most of my time staying with my mother, who is devastated, as I'm sure you can understand.

I am back at home now and have put fingers to the keyboard once more. Chapter 24 Louvre at First Sight is in the queue, and chapter 25 Three Ring Circus is halfway completed. As far as Curiosity Killed the Cat, I will be writing the next few chapters soon. I was unable to retrieve my work from my corrupted hard drive, so I will be rewriting chapter 41 and what I had started in chapter 42.

Cheers to all, and I thank you for having the patience to stick around waiting for me to post. I know how frustrating it is to be eagerly awaiting new episodes of stories that you really enjoy. Hopefully, the future will be kinder and allow me to pound out more words using the two-finger crazy typist style that I have developed over time.

Cheers!
Chris
