So, I've noticed I'm not showing up on the home page at all now. Not just my blogs, but "The Rat and the Dragon" update didn't even show up! It didn't even show up on its own story! If you all look, there is chapter 10 available. I have sent a message to the webmaster about my not showing up the other day, but am still waiting to hear back. Really annoying, especially because that's the story everyone is waiting on! I usually have 100 views within the hour of posting an update for it. I've even seen as high as 1,000 views in a day! So I was surprised to see almost no views after several hours and checked and I was nowhere on the home page, not even the update! I don't know if it's true for everyone that I have vanished. Since I started this pen name, it has given me nothing but trouble. The werewolves must be pissed I left them on the side of the road....
So, "Mongrels and Music" does not get the love I think it deserves. Though Roscrow has been with me much longer, Kupper is my favorite Q'Hu. He is so sweet as far as the Q'Hu are concerned. They really don't come any gentler- or more terrifying. His voice has grown louder and clearer over the years. As such, his world has grown clearer for me. When he started bugging me to retell his tale months ago, he told me quite clearly that he would not settle for simple escape. There would be no less than the total elimination of all those who laid their hands on his woman and her son.
There I am, so innocently writing about Roan giving Cylthan another good dicking to remind her who she belongs to and why she shouldn't go rubbing on other boots when Tiesto throws out a banger in his Clublife and it hits home. "Sunshine (My Girl)" by Wuki. Kupper reached out and snagged it and said "Yep, that's mine. Oh hey, btw, I BLEW SHIT UP!" Just, um, with considerably more eloquence. Thanks, Kupper, lulumi, but I asked you how a month ag... "HEY YO LOOK! HERE'S YOUR ANSWER! YOU'RE WELCOME." Ah, finally. Thanks, my guy. Just in time, too, because I was about to panic that I was out of material. Though, now I have a headache. His voice is so LOUD! What started as a whisper that required everyone else to shut up to hear has become a boom in my head that shuts everyone up, anyway. Where Roscrow strangles and overwhelms when he wants my attention, Kupper simply speaks and that is enough. Even the natives will make mention to the power of his voice. "... for when he speaks, he shakes us like thunder."
Basically, everything at the start of the song is everything before chapter 6. When she leaves is the breaking down of the song to the blank bit. When it comes back, buildings are exploding, dead bodies scattered all over, everything's on fire, and there's Kupper, standing in the middle of it all like a legend, telling Zigz she belongs to him and he'll take down empires for her.
To those few of you who are enjoying the story, I'm really glad. Maybe Kupper and Zigz will never be as popular as Roan and Cylthan, or even S're and her boys, but I'm really happy that he has told me that he's not done telling me more tales, and I hope that makes you guys happy, too. I was so sure that once he was satisfied with the story, he'd simply disappear and that really made me sad. Then, like a revelation, he says "I think I missed one." Maybe not just one. And they aren't very happy with him. Who better to fuck up a Q'Hu than other Q'Hu? Only problem with this whole plan is that the music of the Festive Fairy has brought all the [civilized] Q'Hu to her yard, so when thugs make Kupper return home to get his woman back, he'll be living up to the legend he left behind.
That's really what makes the Q'Hu scarier than their predecessors. Q'Ra don't even bother to fight their designed instincts to kill each other, like betta fish, and eventually do go extinct. The Q'Hu, once they have established dominance, work together with human proficiency (good thing for Jasper). They can even come to like the company of their own kind. Enough so that they colonized their own planet (also open to H'elflings) and have a loose government. That's where Kupper and Zigz end up, and that's the one hive in the galaxy you don't wanna poke, even if you are also a Q'Hu.
Just a last bit of fun lore for those attentive few of you who check the blog. The H'elflings come out female as often as the Q'Hu come out male. Almost like some devious, horny god really likes seeing big powerful men taking advantage of little elf bitches. Huh, who'd a thunk it? Speaking of elf bitches, I'm sorry Cylthan, but god can't hear your screams, only your moans, and you won't be doing any of that for a hot minute. Roan did warn you.
Ah, and here we are. Another weekend. Another block of posting. I can't wait to get to all these fun parts I've been working on lately. Not just the fun with Cylthan, but also with S're! She finds out she's got magic she didn't know about. Might, um, have something to do with her heritage, but we'll find out later. I sure hope all these new powers don't go to her head.
And first off, we've got Kupper needing to make a choice. Remember last week when I said never underestimate how fast a Q'Hu can walk? They'll catch you... like a boogeyman.
On Friday, Roscrow takes care of business... and comes face to face with Jasper.... "Uh oh" is right, saipaki.
And I know what everyone is waiting for: Saturday. Roan has some words with his kitten, pulling her deeper down into this world of danger and submission. She'll eventually learn her place is on her knees before him. For being taller than him, she sure does spend a lot of time looking up at him.
My experimental story is concluded. I will be removing it from my list this weekend. Thank you to the 11 people who voted on it. It got a score of 5.6. That's really what I thought would happen. Just not my style. I will stick to Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
There I was, innocently writing the knife play scene for "The Rat and the Dragon" when along comes a song. I have heard it plenty before, but since this particular character made himself abruptly known a few days ago, this song immediately resonated and a whole scene and tidy little subplot blossomed in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Jake Daniels- "A Little Bit." The song shows up when there is a spicy little dance scene with Cylthan but, to stoke some intrigue, it's not with Roan. And Roan finds out. Uh oh. Cylthan apparently can't stay away from the dangerous men. So, I switched gears and have been working on that whole subplot. You guys are gonna love it. I really want to spill all the beans because it's exciting me so much, but I'll let the votes speak for when we get there. However, I just... really wanna give you guys something fun to keep you as excited as I am! Seriously, it's making me jitter. Enjoy!

Slipping into the warm, soapy water to sit in the space he left her, he drew her close until she was leaning against him and buried his fingers in her hair to pull her head around. Her brow was pinched in irritation, but he drew her into a kiss regardless. It wasn’t like in the woods. He held her there for a slow, firm, passionate kiss that left her gasping for air when he relented.
Her eyes were so hazy, and she could feel his shaft hard against her back. Hypnotized by his sensual gaze, she sighed softly to the touch of his thumb over her lip. After kissing her breathless again, he looked at her with a serious expression.
“Don’t talk to that guy.”
Blinking to clear the haze, her brow pinched together. “W-What? Who?”
“Xanathys. Don’t talk to him. Especially not without me.”
She drew away from him, giving him a sneer. “Why?”
“He’s dangerous. And he’s a jerk.”
“Takes one to know one,” she retorted sharply.
He gripped her hair hard and wrenched her head around and back to look up at him. Her breath caught, clenching her teeth as her body tensed against him, her eyes full of fear looking into his hard gaze. Maybe he liked that– maybe he didn’t.
“You don’t understand. Don’t trust anyone who does not bear my mark.” His hand cupped her shoulder.
“Oh, so you have a whole harem, do you?”
Again she grit her teeth when his grip twisted her hair tighter, glowering back at him despite the fear that thumped in her chest watching the wrinkles of anger disfigure his face.
“You have no idea the kinds of magic going on in this castle. This mark, as long as it is present on your skin, protects our words to each other from being heard by any scrying magic. I have not simply marked you to possess you. I marked you to protect you. I am one of only a few that you can trust here.”
“Trust you? After all that you’ve done to me?”
His face drew so close, eyes narrowed dangerously. “After all I’ve done? Like getting you out of that dungeon?”
Now she trembled with rage. “Like bringing me here at all,” she hissed.
“I’ve already told you no one is going to kill you.” Sucking in his breath, he let himself relax again with his exhale, his face softening. His grip in her hair relented while his other hand caressed her tense jaw. “I won’t allow it. You are mine, and I protect what’s mine.”
She desperately didn’t want to admit how needy that statement made her. Fighting that hazy feeling, her eyes narrowed. “I never agreed to that.”
A wicked little smirk accompanied his dominating gaze, making her gulp. Arousal made her warmer than the water but fear made her so cold she shuddered. “Fine. Go and rub up against other legs, kitten. Your bed is here, and you’ll be back to satisfy this ache like a good girl.”
I'm releasing a one-off story called "Chatrooms to Chapters." This is totally an experiment. Everyone who has read it has enjoyed it. So, let's see what the rest of you think. Please feel free to leave me comments about it. Go ahead and vote however you see fit. High score means I'll write another one. Enough pressure might even get it out quickly. I gotta tell about the birth of Roscrow, right? Roan doesn't get to hog all my youth to himself.
