Posted the next chapter for "Mongrels and Music." I think Kupper is gonna get to the sex before anyone else. One more chapter and they be fuckin'. Roscrow's not getting any fucking because he went radio dark on me. Right at the good part, you dick! You do this all the time! It's like having a sapient telepathic cat in my head. "I'm shunning you. Do you see me shunning you? WITNESS ME SHUN YOU!" Fine. Roan's getting all the elf pussy. But not for a bit yet. So, guess that'll be Kupper. That's okay, he's my favorite, anyway. You hear that, Roscrow? Kupper's my favorite! You could be my favorite if you weren't moodier than a teenage girl at an all girls catholic summer camp.

Speaking of Roscrow and "The Dragon Tamers," my proof reader has been indifferent to my puppy pictures. My method of torture is ineffective. Must come up with something else. But, as I promised, there will be a NEW chapter to Dragon Tamer. I've made it short. Like these other stories, I'm trying to maneuver through the stream of consciousness and find break points that make sense and make the reader want to turn the page. You will see tomorrow what looks like 2 new chapters, but I'm breaking up the last one into 2 in order to shorten them and keep myself equal with other sites. I had posted that chapter here first rather than elsewhere and that's why it was one big one instead of the 2 little ones. The idea came to me later. Also, the part where Jasper does his Tender thing makes for a chapter called "A Tender Moment" while this new chapter mocks that one with "A Tense Moment." So it has to happen.

I'm still working on the rewrite of the first chapter, "Girl in the Snow." My friend helped me realize what my intention had been and how I fell short. Later in the story, his love for S're is brought into question. I wanted from the start to make the reader question. Is she controlling him? Could it be? Does he know this? And I did not even hit the board the target was pinned to. So, if he still has not caught up next week, I should have that chapter touched up and repost it.

And on Saturday, Roan's gonna find out his elf and her pussy[cat] have secrets. I use a lot of the old version in this encounter, but I touched up the conversation quite a bit, and I think the dialogue makes more sense. I hope you all think it makes more sense, too.

I have a question for anyone who has gotten this far. Would you be interested in a less... fantasy driven story? One that may be a little more down to earth? This Earth, specifically? No magic. No aliens. Something I've not done before. It was a concept someone planted in my head and the seed has taken root and is growing like a weed. The thoughts have skittered through my mind like sand and it's becoming a storm. He was struck by the idea that I started writing smut at 13 not knowing a thing about what I was writing and made mention that such a story- a journey of coming of age and learning about it through writing- would be immensely alluring. An autobiography of sorts, with some poetic license. I'm not sure how sexual it would be. I've never thought of it since I wouldn't want to read such a thing, myself. But now, I can't stop. Hmmm, real life? Don't I get enough of that simply living in it already? Well, in any case, it has been an interesting idea and I've been mulling it over.

Maybe once all the elves clear out. Uuuugh, but then the assassin girls want to play! And after that is a totally new story about a dude who can sort of see the future and gets put in a gladiator type thing run by an ancient clockwork technomancer. Dude makes friends with a werebear warrior, a necromancer feline alien person with a giant skeleton warrior, and a goblin-like elementalist. They escape and get chased by a sapient shapeshifting plant that can appear as a person or an animal. And he's evil as they come. For once, no smut. Just a story. But I've had to let it sit for years. Staven's been a very patient man, hanging out with all these dangerous characters.

Sometimes, google doc doesn't catch all the misspellings, and neither did two pairs of eyes. Rather annoying. Trying to fix it, but the mods don't always post such small changes, so I may have to wait until I make larger changes. Like I've said before, I'm considering breaking the chapters up smaller, so that's what it might take. Just know, I noticed them while reading them on a different format than what I write it in. I'm sure other writers are able to understand that.

This is why I say, I don't have a set time for posting. My day was busy. But here they are, 3 chapters reposted to make up for the lack of new chapter. "In the Serpent's Gaze, Cost of a Bounty, and The Adventure Begins." Now that that last one has gotten so long, I may at a later date split it up into 2 smaller chapters. Meh. I'll figure it out as I go.

Truly, this man is everything I could have hoped for. He doesn't give me too many direct lines, he just points things out. He told me that the scene with the guards was too flat and he had no reason to be happy that anything bad might have happened to them. He tells me when descriptions don't move him, when I've used the same word 15 times, and when scenes fall short of inspiring. Love it. And he knows passive voice. I don't know passive voice. It all sounds fine to me. So, I hope you all like the improved chapters and see exactly why it is I'm patiently waiting for him to catch up. I threatened to torture him with puppy pictures if he takes too long. He tells me I'm not very good at this torturing thing... *small voice* all the dominant bones are in my husband....

*holds up hands helplessly* Guys, I don't choose these things. The characters talk. I write. That's what this is. And Kupper had a lot to say. Just like Roan and his elf, there was already a template to follow along to, it only needed updating. The Ryo no longer exist as a species that can breed with outsiders. They never were supposed to, but I liked the idea of Zigz glowing. I gave that up. The old version still exists over on my page under Woofajuana. The new version follows along, but skips off the path a few times, most notably by chapter 5. I hope you enjoy this revival. I'll post on Thursdays until I'm out of material or it's done. Maybe some weeks I won't post, at all. All depends. No promises made with this one. Kupper is quiet but mighty. When I hear his voice, it is short, clear, and concise, and then it's gone. Then it's back, whenever he chooses to speak. And funny enough, Roscrow has no clue he exists. He knows almost everyone else trapped in here with me, but Kupper has eluded him for years. He swears he can hear music when Zigz skips by... But, look, Roscrow! Roan gets to spank his bitch! You know why you don't get this? Because it took you 20 years to tell me you were an elf. Punishment.

Speaking of Roscrow... I know I said I would post a new chapter every other Friday... But he's so close! My beta reader is 2 more chapters away from being ahead. I really want him to get there. Like, more than I'm worried about disappointing any of you. If it does disappoint you, well, that sucks. I would hope you'd want the best story I could put out. With that in mind, I will instead post the next 3 chapters he went through. "In the Serpent's Gaze, Cost of a Bounty, and The Adventure Begins." "What are Friends For" got split into 2 smaller chapters elsewhere, but is still one chapter in my copy. Once he goes through that, he will be caught up, and the one after will be fresh content. I hope you all understand, and if you don't, that sucks. Moving on.

I love his suggestions so much, they inspire me to go through "The Rat and the Dragon" with the thought "What would Psycho say?" I hope it shows as we go forward. That story waves to the original path, blows it a kiss, and skips along through the woods. Let's go!

So, I was busy yesterday. Family in town. I'll keep this short. Posted a new chapter for "The Rat and the Dragon" and posted an updated version of "The Call" with "The Dragon Tamers."
