This is why I say, I don't have a set time for posting. My day was busy. But here they are, 3 chapters reposted to make up for the lack of new chapter. "In the Serpent's Gaze, Cost of a Bounty, and The Adventure Begins." Now that that last one has gotten so long, I may at a later date split it up into 2 smaller chapters. Meh. I'll figure it out as I go.

Truly, this man is everything I could have hoped for. He doesn't give me too many direct lines, he just points things out. He told me that the scene with the guards was too flat and he had no reason to be happy that anything bad might have happened to them. He tells me when descriptions don't move him, when I've used the same word 15 times, and when scenes fall short of inspiring. Love it. And he knows passive voice. I don't know passive voice. It all sounds fine to me. So, I hope you all like the improved chapters and see exactly why it is I'm patiently waiting for him to catch up. I threatened to torture him with puppy pictures if he takes too long. He tells me I'm not very good at this torturing thing... *small voice* all the dominant bones are in my husband....

*holds up hands helplessly* Guys, I don't choose these things. The characters talk. I write. That's what this is. And Kupper had a lot to say. Just like Roan and his elf, there was already a template to follow along to, it only needed updating. The Ryo no longer exist as a species that can breed with outsiders. They never were supposed to, but I liked the idea of Zigz glowing. I gave that up. The old version still exists over on my page under Woofajuana. The new version follows along, but skips off the path a few times, most notably by chapter 5. I hope you enjoy this revival. I'll post on Thursdays until I'm out of material or it's done. Maybe some weeks I won't post, at all. All depends. No promises made with this one. Kupper is quiet but mighty. When I hear his voice, it is short, clear, and concise, and then it's gone. Then it's back, whenever he chooses to speak. And funny enough, Roscrow has no clue he exists. He knows almost everyone else trapped in here with me, but Kupper has eluded him for years. He swears he can hear music when Zigz skips by... But, look, Roscrow! Roan gets to spank his bitch! You know why you don't get this? Because it took you 20 years to tell me you were an elf. Punishment.

Speaking of Roscrow... I know I said I would post a new chapter every other Friday... But he's so close! My beta reader is 2 more chapters away from being ahead. I really want him to get there. Like, more than I'm worried about disappointing any of you. If it does disappoint you, well, that sucks. I would hope you'd want the best story I could put out. With that in mind, I will instead post the next 3 chapters he went through. "In the Serpent's Gaze, Cost of a Bounty, and The Adventure Begins." "What are Friends For" got split into 2 smaller chapters elsewhere, but is still one chapter in my copy. Once he goes through that, he will be caught up, and the one after will be fresh content. I hope you all understand, and if you don't, that sucks. Moving on.

I love his suggestions so much, they inspire me to go through "The Rat and the Dragon" with the thought "What would Psycho say?" I hope it shows as we go forward. That story waves to the original path, blows it a kiss, and skips along through the woods. Let's go!

So, I was busy yesterday. Family in town. I'll keep this short. Posted a new chapter for "The Rat and the Dragon" and posted an updated version of "The Call" with "The Dragon Tamers." See if you spot the differences and let me know if you like it better! "In the Serpent's Gaze" got a big helping hand, and I'm excited to show that one when it's gotten the "seal of the Psycho." Hey folks. It's Woof again and today is the start of another weekly revival. You can still find the original on my other page, Woofajuana. I have made a few changes that become more apparent as it goes forward. Instead of forcing the characters to do the things I want them to do, I let them do the things they would do based on their personalities, and that's led me down a really fun, new path.

There were some issues yesterday with my blog. It was giving me all kinds of trouble! So, in case you missed the announcement, I will not be posting to "The Dragon Tamers" next week due to wanting my new beta reader to catch up and cross over to "alpha reader." Instead, on the weeks I don't post new chapters, I will repost the chapters that have been updated with his help. Man's a Psycho, but that's what it takes to be awesome! You can play games with my hubby, but you're my bestie now! Mwahahaha! I pay in puppy pictures!

I hope you all enjoy. And yes, I use the same elven words as in "The Dragon Tamers" so if you don't know the words used, you can find their meaning in the Appendix if you can't figure them out from context. If you don't like made up words, I don't really care. I will be making up more of them. Telling me you don't like made up words is like when my mother told me she hated snakes: I went out and got 5 of them! (years ago, but still.)

In case anyone missed it, Roan and Cylthan have a song all to themselves. "Ashes" by Stellar. Sums them up perfectly.

Hmm, the blogs seem to be having an issue? Anyone else?

Well, for me, it cuts off the end of my previous blog no matter how I tried to edit it, it says there is an error saving any edits, soooo, I will finish my announcement here, and hope it does not cut off as well.

So, since I have this awesome new friend reading my story, I am dropping this week's chapter as promised, and then... sorry folks, but I will be skipping every other week until he is able to catch up and go from being a "beta" to an "alpha" reader. During those weeks I skip, I will post the revised chapters. I hope you will like the differences, because I sure do!

Now, I am going back to bed to try to feel better, and I will see you all tomorrow for "The Rat and the Dragon" drop.
