Wolf - 2 - Dyson Sphere

Response has been so great on Wolf-1 that I have completed Wolf-2 and will start posting it when Wolf-1 is finished. Please don't write me complaining that you can't find Wolf-2 because I only post on Tuesdays and Fridays, so you won't see the story until the appropriate Tuesday.

The Wolfians realize that they have found a unique structure far beyond anything that their technology can duplicate. This is the story of their exploration of only a portion of the Dyson Sphere and how they contribute to the continued viability of the structure. Why explore only a portion of the structure? Consider that this is a sphere 200 million kilometers in diameter! This is over 3000 times the surface area of Earth.

Wolf - 1 (Not a werewolf story)

My next story is a 10 chapter science fiction piece. This is the blurb:

This is NOT a werewolf story! A detachment of human Space Marines on planet Wolf-439 iv were nearly annihilated by aliens, but the alien spaceship crashed. A few marines survived and fought back against the aliens. This is the story of what the humans did and how they became aliens, themselves. This is Book 1 of what may become a continuing story, depending on the reaction this one gets.

If there is enough interest, as reflected by downloads and feedback, I will expand this into a series. Book 2 is partially written, but I have stopped work on it while I wait to see what happens with this segment of the story. Please let me know what you think I should do.

This will be my next posting, probably on Tuesday of next week. Here is the blurb:

This is the story of John Edwards, a fighter pilot in WW1, his combat experiences, and his romance with Connie Butler, a Red Cross worker. Most of the story involves a little-known, but very important, battle against the German observation balloons. John's favorite method of attack came from my imagination, but it could have worked and made a difference in the war. Every infantryman in WW1 had nothing but praise for the guts of the balloon busters.

Yes, I stole the title from a very old movie. This story has nothing to do with that movie, which, incidentally, I have never seen, only read about.

Today is a wonderful day!

My wife has been in the hospital or in rehab since early in May. At last, she is home, and I just had to share the good news with everybody.

I forgot to say that I will start posting it on Friday of next week with the first 2 chapters going up at the same time. After that, I will go back to one chapter at a time.
