To those reading my "Wolf" series--thank you. The response has been more than I expected. I have a sequel in the works, 2 chapters written, but it is going much more slowly than I had hoped. Therefore, it will not be ready to post when this section runs out.

In fact, I will not have anything to post for a while because of a real-life situation. I will have to take a break from writing and publishing for a while. I don't know how long it will be, but I hope that it is not too long. I might be down for as little as a week or for as long as a month--I just don't know. However, I will be back to posting as soon as I can make it.

My wife has been after me to shut off voting. I just cannot stop agonizing over them, according to her. I have cut them on and off kind of as the mood struck me in the past, but she says that she worries about me the way I am acting.

I had turned voting back on the last time because so many readers had asked me to. However, the actions of trolls and the way Lazeez scales votes continues to upset me.

Therefore, I am going to turn voting off when the current story is finished if I don't do it before then. Yeah, I know my reaction to the scores is totally beyond what a sane author should do, but it does affect me that way.

Right now, I feel that I either have to shut off voting pretty soon or just stop writing, and I don't want to stop writing.

First of all, I want to thank all of you who sent me notes on my last blog. I appreciate every one of them. The problem is that there were so many that I can't squeeze in the time to answer them all individually. Therefore, please take this as a thank you for all of the kind wishes.

The latest news is that the problem seems to be a reappearance of the infection my wife had last year that was the start of her 5 months in the hospital and rehab. This time, they have started her on the antibiotics relatively sooner than they did the previous time. Hopefully, this will keep them from going so far in poisoning her system. I think that is good news, but the damn bugs were supposed to be gone when she got out of the hospital.

Oh, well, at least her condition is treatable. Thank God!

I will start posting "Wolf - 2 - Dyson Sphere" tomorrow.

I don't know when I will be able to post Wolf 2. I had to call 911 for an ambulance to take my wife to the hospital, and she was transported there about 1:00 AM this morning. If we are lucky, I will post the story on my regular schedule, but you can see why the schedule may be badly fouled up. I have no idea what is wrong, so I can't guess what I will be doing over the next week or so. Thank you for your patience.

I don't know how I blew the math so badly in my last blog. The approximate area of the Dyson Sphere is about 125 quadrillion square kilometers and the land area of the Earth is about 170 million square kilometers, so the ratio is about 735 thousand to one. All of this assumes that I have not screwed up the math again.
