Chapter 35 of Best Summer Ever has been posted. Gary takes another shower at Arlene's place. Wednesday date night plans are solidified. A new girl enters Gary's life.

I'm running a little behind today and feel like I've already missed a lot. I woke up find the story already nearing 153K downloads. There's been more than 1,500 on this chapter in just a couple of hours. The score went up another tick yesterday and has held steady. The follower count has increased to 376. I picked up three new patrons on Patreon and have enough pledged to pay my Internet bill.

The writing continues going well with Chapter 53 almost done. It's still a process of figuring out how to move from one point on the outline to the next. I've swapped some bits around just to make things flow better, but all the other girls have their moment in the spotlight coming.

Chapter 34 of Best Summer Ever has been posted. Plans are made for the first group date. Gary and Kacie get a lesson in real estate. Gary and Arlene do some more work in the apartment.

The story is almost at 146K downloads, picking up more than 5,500 for Chapter 33. The score bounced back and forth a little yesterday, but seems to be holding steady at another new high. I'm now almost to 370 followers. That may have been the biggest one-day jump since I started paying attention to that count. And I'm now in double figures for patrons on Patreon. It's slowly getting to the point where I'm getting a little bit out of this.

Two more chapters are in the can and posted on the Patreon page. I'll continue posting a chapter a day here as long as I can.

Chapter 33 of Best Summer Ever. Morgan is full of plans, Gary is put to work, Arlene extracts her payment. What's not to like?

The story blew past 140K downloads overnight and is already nearing 141K. The score finally ticked up to 7.80 after flirting with that mark for nearly a week. And I've passed 350 followers.

I was able to get Chapter 49 in the can last night despite real-world events taking up a chunk of the day. And I'm up to nine patrons on my Patreon account! It's almost to the point of paying for my Internet service.

Chapter 32 of Best Summer Ever has been posted. This one features a whole lot of Arlene. She brings big news on the legal front, jumps in on a business opportunity, makes up for lost time with Gary and makes a generous offer. She has a lot on her plate.

The story has now passed 135K downloads. The score hit another new high and, for the moment, is holding. And I've hit 350 followers. A good way to start the week.

Chapter 31 of Best Summer Ever has been posted. Gary muddles through the rest of Sunday, helps Kacie in her hour of need and is in on the start of two new enterprises as Monday gets under way.

The story keeps chugging along, passing 129K downloads overnight. The score has reached a new high and I'd almost swear it was a tick higher last night. It looks like I've gained 10 new followers and now am almost at 350.

Another productive day saw me get Chapter 47 in the can and 48 well under way. I finally hit another one of those major story points I had outlined.

The coming week has some major personal business looming, but I have enough of the story in hand that posting should not be affected as long as all the machinery continues to function.
