Chapter 21 should be up shortly. It covers the last of the night of the party and the beginning of the next day.

I posted two chapters today. Both are relatively short and fit together to cover the rest of the party, so I felt it would be just plain mean to make you read one short chapter and then wait for another one. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks again to all the people that have been supportive through this story. It's been an ordeal and I've gotten a close look at how shitty people can be when they don't like the story. It means a lot when people tell me that they enjoy the story, but it means so much more after I open up an email filled with hate for the story and for me as the author.

I just put chapter 18 up for posting. It covers John's introduction to Brad right through the rest of the cocktail party and into the dinner portion of the evening. Sharp-eyed readers will see a lot going on and some of it will be deeply satisfying to people who've been looking for John to do something to hit back.

Thanks again to everyone who reads, writes, scores or reviews the stories I put up...except for the people that slap a 1-score on an incomplete story and walk away. We all want you to play in traffic. LOL

I've just enabled public comments on all my completed stories. I should have done it long ago, but I genuinely forgot that the option existed. I only ask that you keep it classy. If you hate a story, say so, but don't turn it into a flame-war.

Having said that, I haven't enabled comments on Trading Up and I don't know if I will once it finishes. There's been such a tide of hate from some of the people that read it that I don't want to subject the rest of you to giving them a public forum to spew more garbage. In any case, I won't enable commenting on it before it finishes and at that point, I may decide that most of the assholes have moved on and open up the comments. We'll see.

I just put chapter 17 in for submission. This is the chapter that covers the next day, up to the beginning of the Christmas Party. There's a lot that happens in this chapter, from breakfast with Jane, through John's day and up to the introductions at the start of the party.
