I've submitted updates for chapters 9 and 10, and I've submitted chapter 11 for posting. I know, it's not a lot, but more is coming. I've almost finished typing up all the stuff I wrote and the editors are getting back to me faster than expected, so it's a matter of getting my nephews to let me work to get anything done!

Okay, I ordered a new network card for my computer back on the 20th and it arrived today. I appreciate the suggestions of possible corrections and I am aware that there could have been more damage to my main board that hasn't cropped up yet. Unfortunately, it was a matter of available money. the NIC was $4. A replacement mainboard would have been $60 or more, not to mention the possible need to replace the processor and ram.

In the mean time, having no access to the distractions that the internet provides, I was able to write up something like 5 or 6 new chapters, not to mention work out details on things I hadn't foreseen yet. The only downside is that I still have to type up those chapters and send them to my editors before I can post them.

Last detail, my internet bill came and is now past due. Any donations will be helpful. Currently I am still only using Paypal (technicdragon@gmail.com). I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

It has been a while since I last posted and I apologize for that. Unfortunately, my ability to post has been hampered by a recent storm. I thought the only component affected was the modem provided by my isp, but after the technician checked everything out and replaced the modem, I found out that the problem went further than that. It turns out that's the the storm also knocked out the network card on my computer. So, until I can replace the network card I won't be able to post anything.

For those who fancy themselves pc techs, the device manager doesn't even list anything to do with networks or internet devices. The nic is built into the main board. Every thing else is working normally. Rebooting or shutting down and booting up again makes no difference. Suggestions are welcome.

I have already looked into the cost of a replacement nic. It shouldn't be more than $10. I just don't know how long it'll take to receive the replacement. That's if I order it online. I'll have to check local stores and see if one of them carry what I need. I'm scared that the cost will be triple the online cost.

I so need to look into getting a new tower all together. Mine is getting so old.

Anyway, thought I would let you know what's been going on lately.

I have to apologize to everyone for not getting anything posted this month. While I worked on several chapters, I haven't sent them to my editors yet for any needed corrections. And then this last week it was both Spring Break for our local school (which meant I had both my nephews while their mother worked and attended classes) and almost all of us have had stomach viruses to deal with. Not fun! So, tomorrow, I'll be going over the chapters I do have again and (hopefully) posting them.
