The Girl Next Door (2007)

The most stunning, emotionally eviscerating movie I have ever seen. If you are interested in dark themes - the classic 'girl in cellar' scenario, but with a difference which makes it even more disturbing/erotic/sick - then you need to give this a shot. Prepare to have your male misogynist outlook challenged (if you are in that category, come on most males are to some extent). I bought the movie online with the mindset of having a good fap to the subject matter, but as it goes on you feel 'OMG', and I finished it in tears. It was that realistic, the most sympathetic and sweet victim you will ever see (age 13/14). It's a 'GOOD' movie, because it truly teaches empathy for the victim, and reminds everyone that that kind of thing should stay firmly in fantasy. Stunning, really, the most amazing film on the topic of sexual (and many other subtle kinds) abuse I've ever seen. Made me think about who I am as a man and a human being. This is 'greatness' in film. You might not agree, it tends to divide people, but plenty of other reviewers were tlaking exactly like me.

scoring, sex and genres

Rant of the previous day over, but...
1) I suggest some kind of little online grammar/literary entry test for anybody who wishes to have the right to score a story (ok, that's tongue-in-cheek).
2) Note to the idiot who said 'how can you expect to get a high mark for stuff that contains no sex in it, on an erotica site?':
Hello! - there's a whole load of stories on here with little or no sex in them, and they probably belong to genres where sex isn't the prime topic (get it?). Here's a list of the genres listed on the log-in page if you've never noticed. The guy fails said test.

Erotic Sex Stories and Fiction
Science Fiction
True Stories
Fan Fiction
Mystery
Western
Fantasy
Horror
Humor
Drama
Time Travel
Action/Adventure
Historical
Romance

Undignified rant completely over. Probably was not a good idea.

ANON feedback.

Have just checked my Saxon account for the first time in ages! (having been writing elsewhere). So, it's taken me a long time to acknowledge this generous and thoughtful feedback I got from 2 people:

1) the guy who said my 'Love From The Stars' was typically brilliant.

2) I remember reading an article in The Economist a
> few years ago about the potential, soon to be
> realized, for creating life-like robots, cyborgs,
> if you will. Out of the blue, the writer of
> article cautioned: there is danger that small
> child cyborgs might be purchased by pedophiles.

> I thought then how silly that was. People should
> want pedophiles to be drawn to robots and not
> children. But to the moralizers of the
> marketplace, that was a bad thing. Of course,
> fucking over whole countries through naked
> financial power and subverting the way of life of
> whole peoples was fine. That's just capitalism and
> we know how much worse every other system is by
> comparison.
>
> What does it say about Western society that in an
> article seemingly unrelated to the subject, the
> author is thinking about pedophilia?
>
> Would that your optimistic story could come true!
> The sad reality is that because of religion,
> greed, violence, and fear, mankind doesn't have a
> future and deserves none.

All I, Saxon, can say to no.2 above is 'here here!' (although I hope the last bit is a little too pessimistic). Also I invite this anon, and anyone else, to read my new story 'The Asian Protege' which deals with further hypocrisies of our modern age. May take a day or 2 to appear, due to tinkering with it's final Censorship Rating so to speak.

Seems rather ironic...

... when you consider what happened with the pedo rules on SOL a while back, due to the Canadian government regulations.

"There is a growing conviction, notably in Canada, that paedophilia should probably be classified as a distinct sexual orientation, like heterosexuality or homosexuality." Taken from article below:
