Olga Kurylenko (according to one man, that is).
I have updated my 'Hall of Fame' - Chapter 30 of Misogynist Emperor (an irreverent, frank but thoughtful judgement of the female species - and here is the current top 10:
1 Olga Kurylenko (35) actress
2 Camille Rowe (24) French model
3 Carice Van Houten (38) actress (Game of Thrones)
4 Klara Krizova (25) Austrian skier
5 Alicia Witt (39) redhead actress and singer
6 Dipika Pallikal (23) Indian squash player
7 Sorana Cirstea (24) Romanian tennis player
8 Sophie Turner (18) British actress (Game of Thrones)

Misogynist Emperor

... is back, after a long hiatus. Late in 2014 I could see I had no chance of achieving my original aim of writing the story of a year in real time, so I lost momentum. I pick up where it left off: August 2014.
The latest chapter 'About a Boy' has been afflicted with line-break difficulties on the upload I see. I'm rectifying these as I speak, so bear with me if you see them in strange places for the moment. It's vital to get this right for the sense of scene [edit - excellent, all in order now!]
Rest assured, I fully intend to finish this series up to the end of year 1 at least. It's an important theme to me. Then it may be mothballed or go off in a different direction.
Even if you don't follow the series, you might like to browse my 'Hall of Fame' (Chapter 30) for a bit of curiosity and talking point: my sexiest 100 female celebrities!

'Hall of Fame'

My new chapter of Misogynist Emperor is entitled 'Hall of Fame'. This is basically a list of 100 female celebrities I would most like to... you get the idea. This may be an interesting and pleasant browse for any hot-bloodied male (or female, why not?), especially if you like to look beyond the obvious sometimes for examples of elite sex appeal. Some of the names therein ARE obvious, though. So, do dip into these even if you're not a follower of the series, I'd love some feedback on my selections. I'm sure to have missed some magnificent names, but it will be regularly edited.

Interestingly, I notice on my MSN page, even as I write this, Kate Upton has been voted 'sexiest woman alive' by People Magazine. I disagree completely. She's not on my list. Her tits are too big (for my taste), and her face is completely unexceptional by industry standards, with no distinctive character. Your stereotypical big-breasted blonde. Teenage schoolboys, or working class granddads must have formed the electorate for that.

In the latest update, chapter 24, I realise I have Wimbledon tennis starting 'next week', ie in the next chapter (which will begin on Mon June 30th 2014). As I'm having the story take place in real time, set each week throughout 2014 I need to get this right! Wimbledon was in fact entering it's second week on that date, so I will have to edit this into the chapter. It does not alter the story of that chapter very much, though. I hope this clears up a little confusion for any sharp-eyed readers, particularly as I may upload the next chapter (which WILL feature Wimbledon significantly, namely a female player or 2!) before getting round to afore-mentioned edit.

...has not been abandoned, in case anybody has noticed it's been stuck at chapter 17 for several months. I've just reviewed chapter 8, and for any newcomers this will give a quick feel for what kind of guy your Emperor is. The title is meant to be slightly ironic, as he in fact loves women (in a 'love-hate' way which may be more common in men then we dare or are allowed to admit). The aim of the story is to combine stroke elements with more serious reflections on men's rights, but taking a slightly tongue in cheek approach. The reader is left to decide whether the narrator is serious about what he thinks, and male readers particularly are invited to look inward at their own true feelings, and all are invited to support or criticise the Emperor.
