In reply to some anon feedback I received. The English way of spelling it is indeed officially 'paedophile', although many don't bother to write it that way (not that very many people have need to write the word anyway), and they would often go with the Americanised 'pedophile'. In this age of dumbing down, more often than not people will say it or write it as simply 'pedo', whether they be English or American.
As a Brit, this is my take on it, but I am happy to stand corrected.
In an upcoming story, I am planning to explore the issue of a heterosexual man (or at least '95% heterosexual') who 'tries boy' for the first time to satisfy a long-standing curiosity. He is not interested in adult males in the least, but only in a boy 14-16 (might have gone younger if the SOL rules allowed it!).
As a prelude and forethought, I would be very interested to hear from any guys whose sexuality resembles this at all, even slightly, to discuss the matter.
I'm interested to explore whether it is possible to be 'heterosexual', and yet be interested enough to have an erotic experience with a good-looking boy. Or, does such a thing by definition mean you would have to be at least slightly 'bi'. Furthermore, do all of us have a 'gay streak' in us no matter how small (I have heard it said).
Also, specific psychological and physical issues: would you be prepared to do some things and not others, perhaps: eg be sucked but not give suck, and what age/looks would your boy have to be?
Basically, what is your thinking behind the premise of sex with a young boy? The dynamics of your fantasy for it, if any?
Quick negative responses are welcome even from any guys who feel 100% repulsion to the idea!
Reply here or to email, depending on how much you want to say or if the matter is kind of sensitive to you.
Two questions at the end of this synopsis.
A 41yo man has been teaching a 13yo girl on the piano for a year. No rude touching or sexual comments have ever occured, but he tends to show rather informal affection for her by chatting off-topic (such as her other hobbies) for 5 or 10 minutes every lesson (weekly), and he says little things like 'her hair looks nice today', and he has put a brief arm around her shoulder for a quick cuddle once or twice when she's done well. Basically, he behaves like a friendly Uncle (but we do not know if any other thoughts lay behind this on his part). He is well-liked and trusted by the parents, but they are not acquaintances beyond the 30-min weekly lesson at their house.
They are added on each other's Facebook with the girl's parents knowledge and consent. One night, at *11pm*, he notices that she is online and he sends her a private message: "Hey. Cu at the next lesson! :-) "
She replies: "hey. i've been practisin :-) "
He replies: "Ooo that makes me happy :-) "
She replies: "Good :-) "
He says nothing further. After 10 minutes she logs off.
Question 1a) She has kept these messages secret. If you were her parent, would you be alarmed to discover them?
Question 2a) As above, but the girl innocently and excitedly informed parents of teacher's messages.
Question 2) As an impartial, unrelated adult, would you feel this messaging 'incident' was 'innapropriate' behaviour from the teacher.
I wonder if anybody can give me the complete rundown on this, once and for all. American educational ages and establishments. As a John Bull, I never seem to quite get it. Just for the record, in case it helps out any of you from across the pond, the English system is...
Nursery (kindergarden): ages 3-4
Primary school: ages 4-11
Middle School (quite rare): ages 7-14
Secondary school: ages 11-18
6th-form College: ages 16-18
'Colleges' of higher education (various, eg Music, performing arts, teacher training): ages 18+
University: traditionally 18-21, but can include 'mature students'
Post-graduate university or college students: 22+
I'm particularly confused on American 'colleges' and High Schools (high school being just one type of secondary school in UK ages 11-18), and what the hell ages your 'grade' systems refers to.
Thanks.
After recieving a clutch of positive feedback about 'A Very Understanding Wife' which is greatly appreciated, it does seem that the 'unmentionable topic' does have some open-minded adherents still. I quench my initial annoyance. Nevetheless, it seems any score for this type of story is always going to be drowned by the haters, and it did take more effort to write if anything than most stories (to slither within the rules), so it's doubly annoying to suffer this kind of knee-jerk voting, unless of course it was crap writing, but IMHO it was at least worthy of a 6.
