I've written 2 chapters so far for the new story. It's going to be a slow start as most of those are meant to be setting things up. I'll still be waiting a little bit to post the first chapter. I want to do some proofreading and clean up but also get the rough draft for chapter 3. I'm also starting an outline to use for where I see the story going. I am still looking for an editor/advanced reader if anyone is interested just drop me a message
So there didn't really seem much interest in my restarting First and Second Date, so for now at least I'm going to leave that. What I am doing though is starting work on a post-apocalypse story. Not sure how long I'll go with it yet to be honest. I've got a first chapter written but will probably have a couple in hand before I start posting. Hopefully that will m4an a shorter time between updates that way. If anyone has seen my previous writing and would like to be an editer/advanced reader let me know, I'm sure I could use the help.
A little background on the story. My idea is based off "The Stand" novel by Stephen King. But only based off. The superflu is basically the same in its effectiveness. While there will be good vs "evil" types I'm not planning to go the god vs devil dividing things into 2 groups like King did. Instead, it will focus on my main character and how he deals with the challenges ahead of him.
While not a new writing, I posted the next roleplay universe story. I'm still planning on finishing up the First and Second Date story and will be writing more on that soom.
So it's official, I've had input leaning towards more wanting me to continue than not. First thing I need to need to do is a reread of the story to see what I've included already and then I'll start writing. I think a realistic goal is to have a chapter done before the end of the month.
So for anyone who's read some of it or even all of it, this has proven to be a tough write for me. The story itself and where it will eventually end I think is still a good one. Though the reality of how things went make it hard to write. I think now I'm in a better place and can even make it somewhat cathartic trying. But first...is anyone actually interested in me picking it back up? I can see it finishing within another maybe 2-3 chapters with some skips ahead in time just getting summarized. If you're interested in seeing a finish, drop me a line.
