Military story submitted, Resume continuing

I've just submitted the next Army Life story, hope you folks find it amusing. Work on Resume continues. 2-4 are complete and 5 has gotten to a point I'm debating adding more or just wrapping te chapter and saving the next part for the next chapter. Please keep in mind the slow start is on purpose with your ratings.

A Resume for the End of the World chap 1

Editing has finished on chapter 1 and it will be posted soon. I plan on doing updates every 2 weeks. Be aware the story will start slow. Chapters 1-3 are all setup, to include a flasback in 3 that will help explain some backstory. So once it starts be a little patient. Things pick up in chapter 4 though

Chapter 4: Resume and Army life

I've started referring to the new long story I'm writing as Resume. I've just finished chapter 4. Chapter 1 has been sent for an editing check. I think I'm going to try and keep this ratio going of having 1 chapter to post and 3 to fine tune. I'm going to try and keep to a schedule of posting every 2 weeks for the long story.

I've also created a series now where I'll be writing about some of my Army experiences. Most of these will be pretty short flash stories like the first one, with the hope of making some of you laugh and letting you see some of the real Army that would be too boring for movies or books. It also will give you some insight into the fact that not everyone in the Army is a combat MOS (job). Support jobs are needed as well.

A question

So this is a question based from an idea I had reading a couple stories by CaptainPig (who has also been generous enough to volunteer to edit my upcoming long story). He's retired Army and I'm current. Would any of you be interested in me sprinkling in short true stories featuring some of the funny Army moments I've seen? These would largely be disconnected and potentially jump around in timelines. But just meant for times I may need a mental break to step away from my new long story coming up.

I'm setting a goal once I start posting of trying to do a chapter every 2 weeks. I was thinking short unrelated stories in their own universe could be a good way of doing simple stuff to also help keep me in the habit of writing, whether short or long story universes. Drop me a message with your thoughts, please.

Also, an update: resume has chapter 3 completed and chapter 4 in progress. 1-3 have been submitted for editing. Not sure a starting time yet, but they're coming.

A Resume for the End of the World

That's the working title I've got for the story I'm working on. So far I've got 2 chapters complete and a longer 3rd in progress. It starts in present day but there will be some occasional use of flashbacks to cover some of the backstory. I'm not sure how long it's going to go yet, but it is a slow starter and definitely not one where you will want to start expecting a stroke story. Although I do think I will include some erotic writing as the story goes, it's just not going to be a focus.
