I just looked at amazon.com and at amazon.ca. It appears that the many plagiarised/pirated works attributed to Ycaza have been removed.

Spurred on by several notes, I took a look at Ycaza's list on amazon.ca. There are a number I recognize, several by "Argon" as well as other SOL notables.

I am writing to amazon.ca.

I trust others will "complain" to Amazon.

There will be a slight delay before Chapter 12 of "Walkabout."
It should appear in a week. This is to give me time to read up on the Hastings River and its biota. I thought I'd read something in "Fluvial Geomorphology," but the Hastings isn't in the index. So, I'll have to go hunting. It may be in Jeans' "Australian Geography."

My sincere thanks to those of you who wrote to me.

Several readers commented on the route Gordy is following, requesting a map. I'm just not up to it. However, I believe all the places I've mentioned are on Google maps and you can track the route on line.

Others have asked where Gordy will be heading. Originally, I was going to send him west and south into the Simpson Desert and then Lake Eyre. I've now changed my mind and the next area will be the opal country of Queensland. But I don't want to take him too far east.

I think he'll go from the Boulder Opal country in Queensland to the Black Opal country around Lightning Ridge in NSW. There he'll learn some geology.

I've done something stupid where the formatting is concerned in
Chapter 3. I'll try to rectify whatever it is that's doing things.
