With the fall coming on and schools back in session, my proofreaders are getting a life of their own again, so the posting of Code Monkey might slow down, again.
We will try our best to get things to you in a timely way, but believe me, these chapters are so much better with their input. And I am working on both chapter 18 (almost done) and 19 (a real good start) so you still will have a lot of words from me to look forward to or to gloss over trying to get to the multiple plots.
thanks for reading and emailing.
The next chapter of Code Monkey will be posted late.
We are in the middle of doing the late night bluegrass stage Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Mumford and Sons Gentlemen of the Road stopover in troy, ohio. I also did the magician's room tonight, it was great.
It is going to take me a couple of days to recover, so the next chapter will be late.
I have a new wireless modem.
But I still plug into it.
I have a new computer.
And I am still cussing it.
I have new MS Word.
And it has driven me back to an old laptop with a usable version of Word on it that does what I want.
I have a lot of emails to read now and reply to, so please give me a bit of time. And thanks for sending me feedback and for voting.
The Kid Wigger
Thanks for all the emails and pointing out the errors missed. I'll get those made and update as soon as I can.
Wednesday night in a thunderstorm my beloved Acer laptop and my plug-in modem took a big hit. The modem is toast and the Acer smoked. I did not loose anything because I always back up to memory stick at the end of each writing session. I am now at McDonalds in my town and have just got my new HP registered and all that new-age wireless stuff. My new wireless modem will be in tomorrow and I hope the tech support people who sent it to me can talk me through the process of setting it up.
Thanks again for reading, emailing, and voting
Sorry it took so long to get the corrected file posted for chaper 6. I had a big PA jobs to produce Thursday, and Friday, and to day there are two bands at a theater one county away to set up, sound check, make happy, and then on with the show.
