I couldn't pronounce my last name as a little kid. Wigger was as close as I could get.
I had a professor who told every class again and again, 'Find your own voice; but show me, don't tell me. Give me enough information so I can come to my own conclusions. Also remember, a reader has five senses. Engage them all.' His best teaching tool was the introduction of constructive critique to the class room.
I've discovered my voice sometimes contains a mix of show and tell.
I am always looking for feedback so I can become better in crafting my writing technique.
Thanks for taking the time to read my stories.
