I've been in a quandary for the lasts two-and-a-half weeks. I've gotten very little actual writing done to further what I already have written in chapter 28 of Flight of the Code Monkey. However, I've done a lot of research for a sub-plot that my outline left as nebulous when I first wrote that part out, oh so long ago. I now have a satisfying backstory that ties in with other already published plot items and I hope my muse will reengage this week.

Thanks for all the emails and encouragement about the story and some of your ideas about what you think might happen, or might be happening.

I want to thank everybody who is reading Flight of the Code Monkey for taking the time to read the story. I also want to thank everyone who has sent money. That you value the story enough to do so is a blessing to me.

Life has been intruding into my writing for almost two weeks. I hope I can get back on track soon. One good thing is that I now have a voice recorder I carry around with me while I drive. I can talk into the air about story ideas, scenes, future plots outlines and such things. It all gets recorded, even the curses at other drivers. Why does it seem that the Southwestern Ohio Idiots Association always has meetings on the roads around here when it rains?

I just uploaded chapter 24 of Flight of the Code Monkey. I hope everyone enjoys it. I've been very busy with work and haven't been able to write anything new for the last four days. I hope to get back to writing everyday next week. Thanks again to Paul, Steven, Brian, and Erik for helping with beta reading and editing. Also, thanks Lazeez, for all the work you do.

Last evening I sent Chapter 24 off to my last proofreader.

I hope to have the next chapter posted soon.

I am removing the stories from my Satyr Universe from SOL for the time being. None of them had outside editors and proofers. One story was unfinished, but I will finish it when I have time and repost the entire story when I am done.

If anybody was starting to read those stories and wants to continue, send me an email and I can send you a text file or an ePub file, I think. If not, I could send a MS Word doc file.
