I recently came across this word in the latest chapter of A Better Man by G Younger. It's a good story of a young man growing up -- in many stories of which this is only the latest. Don't think you can start with anything but the first edition; you'll only get lost.

We have nothing to fear from AI. Herewith, proof that the internet contains no knowledge at all. And, by the way, a self-proving word that the term applies to the internet.

solipsistic -- Of, relating to, or being disposed to solipsism.

And, I DID have to look it up, for all the good it did me.

I'm not writing anything right now. [Because I've got 4 stories partly written and none of them are progressing. My muse as abandoned me. :-( ]

There was a mixup in the order of posting chapters in 'The Fuck You Announcement'

Chapter 14 as originally posted was really supposed to be posted as 16, after 15 and..... Oh the hell with it.

A NEW (to you, readers) Chapter 14 is now submitted and 14, 15 and the new chapter 16 (which you've seen before as the OLD 14). SO, if you want to see what you missed in the right order, check out chapter 14 after it is posted.

Then you can (re)read chapter 15 if you like. And 16 will be (re)posted in the correct sequence. And just for kicks, I'll be submiting chapter 17. If I can manage all that, THEN I'll be perfect.

I got hooked on watching a movie, and when it was done, I wrote an even shorter short story. "The Window" which is posted today.

I've tried, really I have. I start out with a simple idea. A Burn the Bitch story among some well-to-do folks in Atlanta. It would be 3, maybe 4, chapters.

When I'm done writing it's 19 chapters long. I admit it got away from me. A tad bit of personal fantasy [ahem] and then the characters got into the act: wanting to tell their own story. Darn them.

And of course, it's a Harry Carton story, so nothing is simple.

Anyway, it's coming out Saturday morning DAT [Daylight Author's Time -- meaning whatever time I wake up]. I'll post one chapter every day for 19 days straight.
