One thing that really pisses me off is the few here who purposefully and hurtfully go about giving LOW scores for stories.

I'm the first to recognize that I make mistakes. I found two slight errors in my last posting of Bullet which I have corrected and will send off in the next round of updates.

Again, someone gave me a 7 for Technical. And the CRETIN who did that didn't have the guts to own up to it and explain it. I did add a note at the end of my story requesting an explanation of a low score. I consider 7 a low score. And I don't think a 7 is appropriate for such small errors.

I work hard to keep my text bug free and grammatically correct but I'm human and I do miss a few little things. I do go back and correct errors that I find but the CRETINS don't go back and correct their scoring.

I am beginning to think that others on this site who have been blasted by this band of CRETINS are correct and suggested turning off scoring might be right.

My suggestion is for SOL to REQUIRE a comment from ALL who score a story. That will put an end to this thorn in many author's sides.

Spirits and Sex. An interesting concept and I ask, Why Not! Anyway, Chapter 5 is in the posting queue and should be online soon.

Please read the story end note though. Some of the TPA votes are WAY off. It would be nice if that got more consistent or people started telling me WHY they would score a story a 2 or a 3 in any of the three classifications. I haven't seen ANY story here on SOL that would rate such a thing no matter how bad it was.

I guess I'm saying, if you give a low score, fess up or just plain don't vote.

BTW, that should go double with any voting someone does for any story of any author. Let the author know why you feel a low score is warranted.

Sorry for the delay getting this latest chapter up and posted. It should be online with the next updates.

Sometimes life just happens. I will admit it really hit me hard enough to slow me down. Hopefully, my next chapter will be here much more quickly.

Well, Chapter 39 is posted. Jim wakes up after a great night's sleep to enjoy what Claire has in store for him.

Of course with the story, as in life, there is a little twist to it all.

I've been told that ALL stories posted here should be done through an Editor.

As practical as that may sound, it doesn't work for everyone, specifically me. I've tried using an editor and after receiving his comments, I made changes and resubmitted my text to him for a final check. Then there were more comments and another send off of my corrections.

At that time, I was told, pretty much, use someone else. I was told, reading a story more than once was not interesting. Editors here are voluntary and I understand that.

What happens in real life with PAID editors is much different. It's their job!

Also, in real life, editors miss things. I read a published news story today and well, there were errors in it. So nobody's perfect. Especially me!

What I am real tired of is the CRETINS who populate this venue and delight in passing out inappropriately low scores. POX on YOU!

I've seen several real prolific authors here turn off scoring for just that reason. I'm starting to feel that way myself.

I'd think most would believe that a good score for a story is a validification of effort. Unbelievably low scores I can tell you, piss me off.

If that is the intent, like I already said, POX on you and may your danglingly parts wither and die. Go use your right hand for something else than annoying the authors here (and me too!) before there is nothing there for your right hand to play with.
