A story in the Valhalla Universe
This may assist in understanding the 'War Maidens' story and future stories in the 'Valhalla' universe. Related stories will feature the main characters like Regan, Ingrid, Diana and Sigrid from earlier times before the 'War Maidens'story begins. This is a compendium for reference and will be added to.

Part of the Ruby Red universe
Two lost souls find each other, but at a terrible cost. The first few chapters will provide considerable background and introduce several future characters. The family that Paul and Gina find themselves in has to change. Some parts of the story are cruel, others reflect a different culture, one where only the strong survive. Gina has had to change the most but Paul will be tested many times and in many ways. Greed, jealousy and envy cause others to stand in their way. They do have 4 friends.

A story in the Valhalla Universe
There was a time, long before a Viking, Norse or North-men came into use that 'The Land' seemed to be the known world. Regan, our intrepid adventurer starts on his quest with one enemy to face. Oh, if life were only so simple. He is fortunate in a way, Diana and Sigrid cross his path and decide to assist his quest. What you say? How can two silver-haired beauties win a war. Well, it is easy if your mother is Queen of the Valkyries.

Just another football story but set in Green Bay, then later moved to mmm. Surprise number one. Things never go as planned, isn't that a rule? Never fear though, no cheating wife, slut GF, wimp husband or pet dogs around. The point of this story centers on the MC and his girls moving through life's challenges, trying to overcome them and build a good life together. So yes it is a piece of fiction, nothing like real life. If it was not fiction it would be as rare as finding an honest politician.

People can make a difference
I was looking forward to being a 'Free Man', that is not at the beck and call of my 'Masters'. As if they could influence me with cars, places to stay, expenses all kinds of things. Actually that worked. I could have my own like now whenever they would allow it. What a deal! What I did not realize was the difference between 'normal' and what I had been doing. It was something difficult to adjust to, if ever; especially with the occasional 'Call to Duty' they made.

This story is fiction but is loosely based on some friends and acquaintances. Names, titles and teams have been changed for example Jack was not a QB for Miami. When I say 'Football' I'm referring to American style not Soccer. I intended to not be critical of the NFL League but there is little I can see that is good there. There are good players and old players but very few good old players. I use New York and Miami only because I used to live there, the story venues could be anywhere.
