"If you do not expect the unexpected, you will not find it; for it is hard to be sought out, and difficult." -- Heraclitus of Ephesus

A little historical piece that’s shamelessly historically inaccurate (it would have even Robert E Howard shuddering in his grave coz I sat here with a pile of his books in front of me looking at the style he wrote in and just murdering it altho then again, Howard was pretty good at murdering history himself so maybe he’d just laugh. Wherever he is, I hope he enjoys this and RIP, dude. You were one of the best!). Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy the story - it was a lot of fun to write. / (Reviews)

Splashdown Remastered: Stranded in an alien jungle during a botched mission, a plucky shuttle pilot and a fierce alien warrior must learn to overcome their differences if they want to survive their ordeal. (This story has been re-edited and improved to bring it up to my current standards.) Housecat: Zhari and McGregor take some much deserved shore leave, and the wily pilot takes full advantage of his dominant position over the alien to explore the limits of her submissive nature.

John is slugging his way through the Underground Slums and finds a new Pokémon. It's clearly a human but the Pokedex says it's a Poison/Fighting type.
