What if your entire life needs a makeover? Would the opportunity for a fresh start be worth erasing your former life forever? What if you only fully understand what that means after it is too late?

She looked unarmed. "STOP!" he ordered using his falsely deepened authoritative voice. It was a girl, Young, maybe late teens, battered and dirty. Likely half his age. "My parents are dead." So was much of the World's population. The end had come swiftly. But a girl, out here, alone? He couldn't help himself.

A short, about a certain development in sexual experimentation in the future. Zero actual sex but it's all about sex, and very sexually 'charged' I would say. I don't pretend it's a classic or epic action or side-splitting humourous story, and it might not be your 'thing' but it's literate, researched and thought-out and contains an interesting concept. If you're going to give it a score of 3 or 4, you must be a smart reader, so at least take the trouble to give me an intelligent reason why.

The funeral parlor was a large operation. They processed dozens of bodies every week for final resting places. Some were cremated and didn't need the heavy duty cosmetic work to make them look presentable. Sometimes the dirty and hard work had certain benefits when pretty young female corpses were stretched out on top of the metal tables like slabs of meat ready for a night worker with a yen for the ultimate submissiveness possible.
