A husband and step-father makes a wish on Halloween that he have a baby with the woman he loves - the wish goes amiss because he loves, and has loved, more than one woman. Changes occur throughout many lives as the wish calls his loved ones to him and his growing family.

Every old home has a story to tell. A young man fleeing a relationship that went wrong buys a home in a small town in Northern Georgia. The realtor told him that the rumors the home was haunted were just that... rumors. Note: This is part of the Stupid Boy series set 20-plus years in the future. This was supposed to be a Halloween Contest story but real life interfered and I didn't get to submit it until now. I still think it's a good story, tell me what you think. Be warned, no violence, no attempt at world domination, no graphic sex. Just a story.
