We play a bastardized version of Bananagrams. One player randomly draws twenty-one letter tiles from the pile and uses them to make words that each connect to another in crossword fashion. The other player then must make a single sentence using all the words.
Louis, the "hero" of "Cockwise," tests the efficacy of his tie and gets tested. This is a one sentence Bananagram story. Information about contributing your own one sentence Bananagram to the Bananagram collection can be found at the end of this story. Illustrated.
The words for the July Bananagram are: Veers, Barns, Be, Diners, and Equated. Your task is to use all five of these words in a story of a single sentence. You are permitted to add letters to the beginning or ending of a word to make a new word. For example, Be could be changed to Bean or Bell or Bevel. Send me your single sentence story and I will attempt to illustrate it and post it in the July Bananagrams collection.
This month (August) you have three Bananagrams to choose from. Remember, the object is to use all the words in the bananagram in a single sentence. Send your sentence to me, and I’ll post an illustrated version.
The seven words for the November Bananagram are CEDE, CUNT, FEZ, YAW, DONG, GENIE, and FLAX. Your task is to use all these words in a story of a single sentence. Remember that you can add letters to the beginning or ending of a word to make a new word. CEDE, for example, can be made into RECEDE. FLAX could be made into FLAXEN.
This month’s Bananagram is courtesy of Awnlee Jawking, who fashioned a crossword making use of 22 randomly selected letters. Your task is to make use of all five of the crossword words in a story of a single sentence. The words are: bouncier, empire, booze, usurp, and rue. Note that you are permitted to add letters to the beginning and/or end of a word to fashion a new word; for example, rue could become cruet. Send your single sentence to me and I’ll attempt to illustrate it, and post it.
