Laura was stunned by Ann's revelations. "Oh, Ann, let's change the subject. I'm really flustered by all this talk and I have to think through my situation." As a result, the rest of the weekend, they shopped, talked about old friends, and their children. Now let me finish getting these boxes and your suitcase into your house. By the way, are these boxes full of new clothes for you?"
